Lee Rigby was stabbed 11 years ago outside of Woolwich Barracks in London. I remember the shock and grief as I was living nearby. I remember the flowers, tears and pain. I hoped this would never happen again, and here we go. This adds to the ugly image of a broken British society.

Imagine being asked to fight on foreign soil to enrich politicians and their cronies, whilst not even allowed to carry a penknife to defend yourself and your family from vicious enemies in your own countries that regularly murder military and civilian targets.
CARRY PROTECTION. The law really isn't going to protect you, your family or friends anymore. I've never felt the need to carry protection my entire life until 18 months ago thanks to our politicians.

I am an ex soldier and I have always disliked the word squaddie. I find it utterly and extremely disrespectful, the word implies soldiers are a commodity of low value and the way the word is used by this journalist drips with disrespect. I understand the soldier who was stabbed is an officer. How dare he!

My thoughts are with this poor soldier, his family and the witnesses who saw what this evil villain did. Absolutely true. Someone trustworthy should start a GO-FUND for this family as they will obviously need a lot of support in the future. The Home Office and MOD won't do anything. So it up to the public. Maybe his Commanding officer could take the responsibility of getting it up off the ground or the soldiers themselves.

According to a report...the Italian authorities reported that this man was a known criminal and he was recently in Italy but disappeared. It was not disclosed exactly where he originally came from. No word from the UK media. No update on the soldier either.
