Your method was simply the BEST!!! your a good cook, especially putting in the pimento seeds...that adds to the flavours. I watched closely & just admire your 💯expertise of cooking SKILLS over your POT. Well done it turned out truly SCRUPCIOUS.😋
All spice is as what is says. It is reminiscent of all the spices, if broken down it smells like cinnamon, mace, star anise, nutmeg, black peppercorns and so forth. The culinary works sees all spice as Jamaica's black pepper.. That's how much flavor we infuse into food.

Instead of soaking can you pressure the corns?
Yes! When it comes to hominy you may:
1. Slow cook
2. Soak and then boil
3. Soak and then pressure cook
4. Just pressure cook
Can you use can corn for this?
No dear, definitely stick with hominy
You can use canned hominy 😊

Why use the pimento seeds?
Allspice is one of those spices that is often used in Jamaican cookery. It shows up in stews, Jerk dishes and even in sweet dishes for flavour
