Nice one, great tips! Looking forward to hearing you try to pronounce where I'm from, after you butchered Groningen the other day, haha. This one should be easier. Best regards, Paul from Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
You still haven't found me on the map. I've been following your channel since its early days, and it has helped me a lot to become a better player. Wishing you the best, Kashif Fareed from Bahawalnagar, Pakistan.
Great video buddy. I only recently got back into snooker when they reopened my local club. These little tips are great and will put them into practice when I next play. Previously I would get down on a shot and it would look perfectly lined up and by the time the cue hits the white ball it will end up nowhere near to what I saw when I lined it up. Thank you for your amazing videos. 👏🏻
Hi been watching your channel for a few months now and I love your content and the way you explain. Keep it up!! My real name is Muhammad from Multan Pakistan
I've heard this advice before but I've always thought I'd have to align my left foot with that imaginary line and obviously that felt very wrong and uncomfortable so I gave up on it quickly. So glad I've looked up this video. Time to work on my consistency! Greetings from Kuwait!
Another brilliant video. Glad to see some tips that I can use to coordinate my flat, different sized feet! Can't wait for your next upload. Cheers from Alex in Llantwit Major, Wales
Think your best advice on this video is to only look at your cue action ,stance , grip etc when your playing at your best or really well ,you can then look at it all and know then that is the best for you .No different than the golf swing ,everyone's different .
It’s good to know they work because sometimes I feel like I’m just someone who’s muttering to themselves in a garage for a few days. And well done with your break
@@Breakfromlife 😂😂 can understand all that recording and editing takes up way too much time, I've been an English pool player for years, never stepped into a snooker table till watching this year's seniors, played about 10 frames, and honestly I've watched most of your recent videos and they've helped me with pretty much everything 😂 so thankyou man it's appreciated
So do I have to wear my shirt as pants, and my pants as a shirt to play with my feet? Love the video! Keep the great advice coming Senpai! From South Africa, Emalahleni.
What this really comes down to is having your back hand and bridge hand in perfect alignment. There are different ways to achieve this, the stance being a common one. However the stance will only approximately allign your bridge hand and back hand imho, unless you can align your foot on the line with millimetre accuracy, one still has to be able to *feel* how aligned their hands are, and adjust accordingly or there is still the chance of shooting across the cue ball. If you stand too much to the right or the left, your back hand will be to the right or left of your bridge hand, which will cause you to shoot across the ball and put both spin and deflection on it.
Really great video thanks alot. I play UK 8 ball pool and i have been having alot of trouble with my stance and walking on the line of the shot. I can't see to get comfortable on the line and with my legs. But this certainly helped put alot into perspective. I need to record me practicing or use a mirror. Haha Thanks again from Gold Coast, Australia
Waiting for the Canadian border to open back up as that;s where the closest tables are to play for me. Cheers from Birch Bay, Washington, south of Vancouver, BC just inside the US.
I’m a right handed player and it feels natural for me to stand with my heel on or just outside the line of aim with my right foot turned about 45 degrees outwards. I’ve heard other well respected coaches say that this is ok. I messed around with my stance a few years back trying to stand more square on with my right foot straight and exactly on the line of aim and it all but ruined my game as I was constantly thinking about where my right foot was and I found sighting the shot more difficult. I’ve recently tried not to think about it as much and just fall into my natural stance and I’m starting to play better again, so although I understand the basic principal of this video I believe it’s more important to feel comfortable on the shot even if the stance is not textbook!
Love all your videos! This will help in my 9 ball and 8 ball shooting. I am considering changing to a snooker stance and trying it out for a while. Greetings from the States!
The only whole body photo I could find of him when he was doing this sponsor shoot. Not sure why He’s being sponsored by the manufacturers of welding tools
Please help me about my cue action. How can I improve.. and make a video for cue action correction .. how want to work forearm and where we actually hold the cue. Cue action in slow motion
Thank you sir! As I 6.5 so I cant keep my cue close to my chest. I don't know what is the reason. Can I have you contact so I may send my video for a bit of analysis. Thanks in advance
hi a question about elbow! when i stand infront of mirror , my elbow is not perfect behind head however i also can see my grip hand and the grip hand looks somewhere inline with right chin, although my centre chin is touching the cue. does this mean my elbow is out? where the grip hand should be when looking at the mirror ? exactly below head? or it can be anywhere? tnx
Watch tor lowry he has superior fundamentals and teaching techeniques. Gunslinger foot position makes you scrub high left/right. Surfer style foot placement lends itself to better hip shoulder foot aligntment. Also you are cross eye dominant... which isnt bad or wrong but works for you may not work for other players. Different folks different strokes. Find what works and stick to it cheers buddy!
"by this point in the video the majority of people have stopped watching" who are these part timers lol

I wonder why the 4 people who disliked this even watched.
Great video. Simple explanation
Fantastic video, keep up the great work! Hopefully will improve my game massively. From Creed, Norwich, England
I'll try this next time I play. (Not cueing between my toes!)
Yeah that took half an hour and was extremely painful in the end
Wow this really made sense. thanks so much.
At 2:30 is Shaun Murphy holding.. a welder? Why does he have a welder?
Lol 😂
Off on a site job with the stick
I know now, I remember snooker being sponsored by jasic, a brand of welding machines and equipment
The only whole body photo I could find of him when he was doing this sponsor shoot. Not sure why He’s being sponsored by the manufacturers of welding tools

Hi mate, I'm not sure how your going to show this but what about players who are overweight? What's the best way to cue to get that straight line?
It does make a difference but it’s mostly just about where you stand
9:24...still watching the video, do I get a free autographed cue? 🤣 (Ok if it's the 10 quid cue you tried out.)
... that chalk line on the floor ...
wait ... ball point on shoes...?

What you using for chalk..toe jam ? Revolting.
I love the ironic misspelling of "you're" in the thumbnail. That was intentional, right? 😉
I had to spell about 2 things for this video and got 1 wrong. Luckily people noticed and I change it quick
@@Breakfromlife Yeah, it wasn't really a criticism, I just thought it was mildly amusing. Keep up the fantastic content.
How would intentional misspelling be ironic? I'm actually curious.
In my country are close every where cause Covid-19. I very very bore.

Hello from Pakistan, Karachi.
hi im saif from tunisia city called sfax
In a club, just use the another cue to get the line on the floor.
When talking about players who don't brace the cue to their chest how could you forget good ol Tony Knowles.
Sir I have very poor cue action and I'm working alone from 2 years but still fail and going bad. Please help. I'm from Pakistan

This is the part I struggle with
People that have snooker and feet fetishes will be loving this
Thankfully I don’t know these people but unfortunately I think I’m baiting them
Well...anything for views though right 😅
My stance is so messed up sometimes I just don't know what the heck am I playing 😅
"Your" doing it wrong???

bro...feet snooker? time to go on only fans
0:13 😂
This has definitely been my biggest weakness over the years... the stance I mean... not the... feet.... promise 🙄
I absolutely hate the one leg straight, one leg bent while bent over feeling. Definitely not balanced. Proper it may be.
