You can learn how to add a script to a toolbar here: ua-cam.com/video/CFixg1t5UrM/v-deo.html Would you like me to teach you how to do some other scripts? If yes, what kind of script?
Good introduction for beginners! Probably the single most useful thing beginners can learn is a simple loop over multiple objects like: for obj in selection do obj.modifiers[#Chamfer].amount = 0.5
Aga you are awesome, each time i watch your videos, i filled with so much amazement, how awesome your content is, even i didnt find in paid courses. I know despite being a professional you upgrade yourself every day and thats why i will stick to your channel until my archviz career. you are so awesome....
You are sharing so much with us so i am suggesting one 3d script pack called "Octopus 2" which is created by very awesome guy Mike using 3ds max several years, definitely worth experimenting for workflow improvement.
a really nice intro to max script. thanks. But... I need to point out that there is something wrong with the bump map on your wall in the background. perhaps you could increase the scale of the noise map, and then turn down the bump intensity.
Is there also a way to change 3ds Max default settings? For example, create a cylinder without height segments, create a plane without segments, use pro boolean with no edge removal checked...?
Is there a way to make a script for max to shut down after rendering is done? Because if i am recording a script and shut down the max...it will just shut down, will it not...?
Sure it can do the way like that...but its usually work only for one object or specific task, for complex operation, you need more coding lang knowledge to support the task.
In fact, I tried to follow a video of how to add it to the toolbar, but you did not adjust with me, I do not know how to write the introduction of the script until my code appears despite my attempts
Great video...thanks soo much. May I ask how can I make a script to change the pivot of any object to its center in x and y, and to a minimum value in Z-axis? I´ve been trying with your explanation and couldn´t. Regards.
@@ArchVizArtist thank you soo much for your response, but it didn´t work, I am a beginner in scripting and maybe I´m doing it wrong or didn´t understand how to incorporate those lines in the code from scratch! I will keep trying...thanks!
Thanks for this video. It's exactly what I just needed. But couldn't I just use the new Chamfer with Inset checked and Inset Type set to Flow Loop? You can also create a preset of this directly in the modifier. And the music is a little loud, but nice video.

Great.this will be very useful when you have bunch of modifiers on stack.
Definitely!
Great video

Here you go:
for obj in selection do (
obj.pivot = obj.center
obj.pivot.z = obj.min.z
)

Background music is little loud.

I always wondered why they have an intro with a broken monitor in it 😐

Your videos are great, but please move your hands less, it's a little distracting
Thanks, I like moving my hands though ;)
This is for time waste management.
My poor ears are fighting to hear your voice over all that nasty annoying noise loop. Why do you have the music/noise so loud it is hard to hear you?
