Poor poster girl chun-li ,you earned money for CXXCOM but see what they had treated you~ They just keep locking your useful skills such as anti-air(Tenshokyaku), but givin you a nonsense skill.....For those loyal chun players , my understanding and respectful to all your choice....XDDD
Although it's not big a buff, but the v-skill follow up move gave her some meterless combo ender is a nice addition. Due to her normal lightning kicks properties won't knock down opponent, it's good to give the H Lightning Kicks more juggle opportunity.
V-skill still sucks! Needs more range, faster startup, and less lag in the air. It's supposed to be a better jump since her regular jump is so bad, but it's no better! They might as well just fix her normal jump! I'm glad they're trying to give her more tools, but they need to stop putting band-aids on bullet wounds.
RedMage409 chun doesn’t really need a better jump with her straight up op jump hk lol. V skill is a combo tool and can occasionally be used in neutral. It’s as risky as any jump
Thomas Saba there’s no way jump hk is op. Nothing she has is. It’s an air to air and just as risky as any other jump. The whole point of her v-skill, per capcom at the release of SFV, was to give her a better aerial approach. It wasn’t until S3 that they started to buff it’s potential in combos.
RedMage409 jump hk makes up for the height of her jump arc because you can press it absurdly early and still be very plus on hit and block. Her ground game precludes the need to jump in most matchups anyway.
Thomas Saba that’s only true to an extent. The lack of hazanshu and a lackluster slide mp makes dealing with projectile heavy characters difficult, so you still have to rely on jumps occasionally to get in. That’s another thing v-skill was intended to address, but it’s so slow that you still likely get AA’d for attempting it. Jump up hk at any height doesn’t address the floatiness of her jump either.
Her crMK hurtbox change reminds me of 3rd Strike a little bit. We all know how that works out. She got some nice changes, but I'm not sure if we'll see MOV back on her.
That leap is rarely used because it's trash, and it's still trash, so it will still be rarely used. They need to just get rid of it already. This isn't specifically because of the leap, but the character is still pointless. I've mained Chun since the characer's first release but honestly why would anyone use Chun in SFV except for nostalgia. JustForFun-Li.
Crouching medium kick, how can you say it’s harder to whiff punish, and then say then say basically it’s harder to for you to beat it, lol 2 totally opposite meanings xD,
@@FireStormBaller you gotta press star in training mode then go down to "Shortcut settings" and it'll give you a list of shortcuts you can turn on and off. Turn on battle reset and now you can use r3 to restart

That V-Skill combo is straight up her SF4 combo without the V-Skill

As a Chun mainmyself, MOV leaving her made me so fucking sad. She deserves to be cooler than this.
