This interview pinpoints why I think Jessica should have taken the Oscar home this year. I love Jennifer Lawrence. She's amazing, but Jessica's Maya was just so riveting and layered. And she stole every scene she was in. Love hearing an actress talking about her craft. :)
I've watched Zero Dark Thirty about two weeks ago and I'm so in love with Jessica Chastain right now. Every video of hers I watch makes me love this woman even more. I'm really looking forward for the day she wins an Oscar.
For the record, if you look at some of the older interviews, there is more than enough of my face. After the first couple of years, I made the decision not to do the reverse.
TheHotButton, I absolutely agree with you, 'The Hurt Locker' was great but 'Zero Dark Thirty' was even better!!!! Btw I hope you love your job cos I am sooo envious of it.
My guess is you haven't seen the film and are just willing to go along with Jane Mayer's absurd spin on the movie because it's The New Yorker. Seriously... go see the movie.
from what i have read in the new yorker and elsewhere the film is a masterpiece and the only issue with the torture (which is shown to be as repellant and real as possible) is that it's place in the narrative is slightly different than it was in reality, perhaps letting it seem indirectly as tho a previously tortured suspect revealed a vital clue.
they don't say it, but you kind-of got the impression that because Obama stoped the detainee program they would have found bin Laden much faster and with more certainty.
21:15... Don't know why people were saying it was Pro-Obama. In the movie there is one scene where she is watching an interview with Obama talking about torture. Then a little later there is some conversation about how the detainee program would have helped get information on if bin Laden was in the compound.
propaganda film advertising torture. US CIA the heros the enemy dark villains. see review by The New Yorker's Jane Mayer. the actors/director all collaborators in my opionion.
Over rated movie. Her acting was very shitty at times. The film was a 3-hour television show. The humor in the raid, when calling out for Osama, totally killed the suspense.
ferociousfrankie boy, do you not understand good story line and film making. Go back to your cartoons, dude, and leave intelligent films to people with brains.
I love how she's such a passionate advocate for her characters.
She really analyzes every role she plays! Chastain can never fail. Never. Also her voice.......I could listen to her talk all day *_*
totaly agree

Love her voice!!!
For the record, if you look at some of the older interviews, there is more than enough of my face. After the first couple of years, I made the decision not to do the reverse.
I will never make it to film school...so I'll just listen to people like Jessica Chastain talk film!!!!
Why not? Because you don't want to or you think you're not able to?

johnatawnclementawn because people are stupid and can’t think intelligently.
I love that she loves Jonah Hill!
So she likes the a-political approach to this movie. Wouldn't it be nice if our news media did that.
if you want to waste your time
HotPocketsBoy go back to your cartoons

she is so arrogant
karaoke800 Seriously? How? She is soft spoken and intelligent. I guess you don’t want women to be reflective and thoughtful
found the incel lmao
