This is a Christine McVie sung Fleetwood Mac song. So many younger people not familiar with the band think Stevie Nicks is the only female singer in Fleetwood Mac. Christine is pardon the pun the most unsung member of the band the perfect angelic counter to Stevie's witchy vibe
Paul O'Brien I couldn't agree more. I'm every bit as much of a Christine fan as I am Stevie. The two differing voices are a HUGE contributor to the depth of Fleetwood Mac's sound and success. I REALLY love this girl's Christine cover.
Christine Perfect joined the band about the time that founder Peter Green left......you talk about people not realizing that Stevie Nicks isn't the only female vocalist for Fleetwood Mac.....more don't know that the band was around for a long time before Stevie and Lindsay even joined. There were two versions beforehand. My favorite is the lineup with Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Jeremy Spencer and Mick and John.
@@paulprendergast3184 And it was a chance encounter at Sound City studios in LA that Mick just happened to hear Lindsey playing guitar in one of the studios
People who were fans of Fleetwood Mac were very aware of McVie. I think her mellow, husky voice just didn't bring as much interest and excitement compared to Stevie's clear, bright, projecting voice with that very distinct vibrato. I think the majority of fans tuned in to hear Stevie, but obviously Christine did have her followers.
They do some truly killer versions of some of the most classic songs, honestly really more than "just another tribute band" when it gets to this level of an act - definitely top tier.
JUST LOVE THIS BAND!!! RUMOURS (proper spelling) of Fleetwood Mac are THE best tribute to the original band. So good in fact, that Mick Fleetwood endorses them! Their version of Oh Well, is on my phone playlist and I play it almost every day. It's awesome. Currently touring USA and Canada, they are excellent. I've been following them for years. Jess Harwood, the girl with the tambourine, also sings with an act called The Classic Rock Show. They play songs from people like Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Status Quo, Heart and most of the major rock bands from the seventies on. Like RoFM, they try to keep to the original sound of these bands and do it really well. You really need to check them out too.
Great song. Christine McVie has a beautiful voice and actually sounds wonderful when she pairs up with Lindsey Buckingham. This band is doing a great job. I'm a huge Mac fan
Call me when you react to the original with Christine McVie doing the vocals. Nearly every reactor is sleeping on the third singer/songwriter in Fleetwood Mac.
They are a fabulous tribute band. They are playing tomorrow night at Hampton Beach N.H.. They really are the best Fleetwood Mac tribute band. I go a lot of concerts every year and this year I’ve checked out a few tribute bands this year and I’ve been blown away. Great tribute bands not only nail the songs but they show honor and respect for the band that they are covering. Thank you for testing the waters and reacting to a phenomenal tribute band.
YES! I saw them in concert in Philly at the TLA a number of years ago- and they were absolutely amazing!! One of the 1st shows I went to on my own and I had a great time!!
I love how the Chevy TV ad seems to celebrate the song (written and sung by Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie) more than the Chevy car brand. I'm guessing that "Everywhere" is fast becoming a global streaming hit because of the power of TV advertising.
Glad other folks are slowly learning about this dedication band. As someone who has seen FWM 3 Times...from a certain angle.....they do look like them.
Firstly, I really enjoy your reactions. As some of the other comments say, this is sung by Christine McVie who in my opinion is one of the most underrated singer/songwriters on the planet. Some of her other great songs include Don't Stop, Little Lies, Songbird and many others. She was also the vocalist on the song by Chicken Shack called I would rather Go Blind which deserves a listen and reaction. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac are a British band and I have seen them live in my home city of Birmingham, England.
This is my shit Jay. I collect vinyl and this 45 was so hard to get with the picture. I finally found it but it took me 3 years. Those Harmonies are Everything on this track 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️ This cover band was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This video is from one of their concert DVDs. If you think this song is great, which it is; just wait till you hear Jess Harwood sing: you will probably be be blown away like the first time I heard her. The singer singing this song is named Emily Gervers.
If people want to see/hear what the original FM was like in their prime, look no further than these wonderful artists. Honestly, it’s a rare occasion when a tribute band equals (maybe exceeds?) the performance level of the originals. This is one of them. 🤩
When you said they were a tribute band I just about moved on. But then I listened to this on a whim and wow!! This is seriously a great cover of this song!! And when you said "Well Damn" at 2:38 Fricking A Exactly the reaction I had - Thanks Jamel!!
I've never heard of this group. The whole band did an excellent job and the lead singer does sound an awful lot like Christine McVie. Not quite as good as Christine (I have a bias), but still excellent. Going to have to go check out some more of their work. Thanks, Jamel for doing this one.
I saw these guys in Hamilton Ontario 3 weeks ago. Simply amazing. They’re fully endorsed by Mick Fleetwood. He does a taped intro to the band prior to the concert.
I found your channel a few days ago while watching various reactions. Really good stuff you got going on your channel here. Much love and keep them coming.
💖Please react to Fleetwood Mac (Christine McVie singing) -Songbird -You Make Loving Fun -Say You Love Me -Over My Head -Little Lies -Hold Me -Don't Stop -Thanks!!!
Thanks Jamel, this was a great review. Sure, it's not the real Fleetwood Mac, they didn't write the songs, but they are TALENTED and the audio quality is spot on. The actually outsell most modern bands and they are a cover band!
Spot on!! I saw Fleetwood Mac in 2014 in Hollywood, FL on the last day of their current tour and this tribute band was near perfection! Before that 2014 tour, it had been many years that they toured without Christie McVie. The song "Everywhere" is her song (and my favorite of hers), not Stevie's. The concert was THREE HOURS!! I had also seen FM in 2004 in Milwaukee, however Christie wasn't there. Still a fantastic band!!
Listened to a Lot of their music.....I will gaurantee you, Fleetwood Mac would say KUDDOS!!!!!!! They are ONE of the best cover bands you will ever hear!!!!
You need to check out all their videos. Jess Harwood is the lead singer. You should check out SARA. Im going to see THEM IN DURHAM NC In a few weeks. The band is mostly from London. EMILY GERVERS who sing this song is from NEW ZEALAND. Personally endorsed by Fleetwood Mac founding member, Mick Fleetwood,
From this same concert (I think) is "Silver Springs" sung by Stevie Nicks. It grips my heart every time, the words are so powerful. In fact, I'm going to listen to it right now. 😁 Listen to the entire "Rumours" album, my friends. It's one of the GOATs! Love to all ❤
Hi, I'm Cheri and just subscribed... I Love Your Channel... I'm curious if You've ever heard, Pink Floyd, Big Gig in the Sky... I would Love if You could do a reaction video to it... I think it is out of this world !!! It'll really get You in the Feels !!!
They are very good but she could be accenting the harmonies with the keyboard and bending the note to match. We did it a lot on certain songs we did with a Korg synth. Still…very cool reaction
@@HotQgav many have suspected that even the original had synth accents on that harmony. I don’t care if it did or didn’t, I love the song. Music is created to sound a certain way. If they needed to accent…it’s not a crime. It’s a song. There are no rules that say you cannot do as you wish to get the desired result
To get a better perspective on Fleetwood Mac please look at big love live. You'll appreciate how & why Lindsey Buckingham became such an integral part of the band.
Hi Jamal - Would really like to hear your comments on a song called "All About That Bass" By Postmodern Jukebox The European Tour Version. Looking forward to your comments
I agree with the others - let us know when you react to the original "Everywhere " that came out in '87 and "Little Lies" in '87and also "Harmony" which I think came out in '81, if I remember right.
The real FM are all pushing 70 and have done so many lines of coke that it could wrap around the world seven times. It’s no wonder that Mother Time caught up with them. And they are beyond content and massively wealthy at this point. So we have this tribute band which is almost as good to bring us their immaculate music they created.
Man that crowd clapping is so terrible. We need more handless concert goers what kind of psycopath thinks ruining everyone's time by proving they know a few lyrics and aren't deaf thinks that it's ok to do it I guess its more sociopath than psychopath due to not caring about anyone but yourself. At least when anyone I know goes to shows we stop it by yelling at everyone until they stop. Spread the word
I love the use of great audio-reproduction technology. I just think "What if THESE mixboards, mic's and speakers had been available in 1960..." One thing I appreciate about these tribute bands is their student-ship, studying the originals so carefully and reproducing them faithfully. THE ANALOGUES, doing whole Beatles albums. All of these are PhD's.
I wonder if reacting to tribute/cover bands performing songs might be a way to get around UA-cam strikes/blocks. They did a great job of covering this song regardless. 👍🙏✌️
Yeah but like I said vids like this kinda hurt my channel and the comment section wants the original, and I stated that I’m familiar with that as I was waiting for the harmonies

Give their Rumors album a listen. It is them in their heyday. It is a fantastic album. It was huge when it came out too. Many hits 🎶 🎵 😎

One of the Best Tribute Bands in the World!!! This song has over 20 mil. views!!!
Seeing them in two weeks in Clearwater. They sold out pretty quickly. Saw them before the pandemic and they blew my friggen mind!!!
ROFM is next level tribute, close to the embodiment of the band itself.
They are really good!
MEL! 🙌💪
This is the best cover of this song. They definitely did it justice.
I liked this. Her voice is reminiscent of Christine McVie.
Superb band seen them 3 times including oct. 14 at the long island Paramount

They good
I saw another FM tribute band this past summer called "Rumours Tribute Show". Also pretty darn good... and on youtube.
