How many here are followers of the 1 true God? I see a lot of insults, name calling and I am taken aback. None of which is the fruit of the spirit... If someone misspeaks, gently correct them. We are not allowed to judge OUTSIDE the faith, that is up to YAH to do. OyVey!

Shabbat Shalom, tediously I search for a clear teaching for my friend that does not yet know Yehovah Tzeva'ot's Holy days and new year. I just send her this. Thank you for explaining it so simply that even a child can understand. Just as Yeshua said. Torah is for all generations forever. Amen

Shalom, the following is also great to now: out of our Messiah's Word.
What is Elohims seasons: new moon, days, months, years?
"Then Elohim said, let there be lights in the sky to separate the day from the night. They will be signs and will mark seasons, days and years." (Gen1:14)
Seasons in hebrew is "moadim." Means appointed times, religious festivals, set feasts, meeting. In (Lev23:2) the word appointed is also "moadim."
The lights in the sky will be signs
to seasons, days & years? Not
calendars that is man made! Daniel tells us man going to change times?
"..., He will speak words against the Most High and try to exhaust the holy one's of the Most High, and plan to change the appointed times and laws." (Dan7:25)
      1. Elohim's days start at sunset- what did man do, moved the start of the day to midnight. 2. Elohim's months start with the New moon and all His months are ± 30-days. What did man do, we all know how todays calendars look.
      3. Elohim gave His appointed feast (Lev23). What did man do, made up their own feasts...?
"You made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun knows when to set."(Ps104:19)
      According to Elohim; The moon
will tell us in what season and month we are! The question now is: when does the 1st day of the month on Elohim's calender begins?
"This month will be the very first month of the year for you." (Ex12:2)
When Is This 1st day and Month.
"The fourteenth day of the first month is Yahweh's Passover."(Num28:16)
Elohim's Passover is in His first month on the 14th day. Not the man made easter or good friday.
We know now when the first month is. When does Elohim's 1st day of the month begin?
"Blow the ram's horn(trumpet) on the day of the new moon, on the day of the full moon, on our festival days."(Ps81:3)
      1. Blow the Trumpet.
      2. On the Full Moon.
      3. On the New Moon.
      4. On the festivals-we know of (Lev23). Elohim's feast VS man made feasts.
Why was the trumpet to be blown?
"Make two trumpets out of hammerd silver. Use them to summoning(call) the community,..."(Num10:2)
Why is a Full Moon mentioned?
In (Ps81:3) says, on the day of the
full moon,..... What is very interes-
ting, most, not always, the feast of
Elohim fall on the full moon? It's
      commonly understood on the 15th
of Elohims month's there is a full
moon. Some of Elohim's feast is close or on the 15th on the month.
Passover(14 Nisan), Feast of Unleaven Bread(15 Nisan), Feast of Tabernacle(Sukkot-15 Tishrei). There is no command to celebrate
a feast on the full moon. The text does not say those feast days
need/must fall on the full moon.
"He took a bag of money with him-he won't come home until full moon."(Prov7:20)
".... The sun became as black as sackcloth made of goats hair, and the full moon became like blood."(Rev6:12)
Both verses, nothing good happend? On a full moon?
When Is the First Day of the Month? "Also, on your festivals days and on the first day of the month, blow the trumpets...."(Num10:10)
Great!! We know when the 1st day
of the month is. Ps81:3, say, blow
the trumpet on the new moon.
Num10:10, say, blow the trumpets on the first day of the month.
"Blow the trumpets on the day of the new moon....,(Ps81:3)
"Also, on your festival days and on the first day of the month, blow the trumpets..." (Num10:10)
"..., the offerings for the New Moon Festivals and all the other holy festivals of Yahweh, and all the free will offerings brough to Yahweh." (Ezra3:5)
Just, to make sure there is no
confusion on when the new moon or the first day of a month begin.
"So David hid in the countryside. When the New Moon Festival came. King Saul sat down to eat the festival meal. But on the second day of the month, Davids place was still empty. Saul asked his son Jonathan, why hasn't Jesse's son come to the meal either yesterday or today"
(yesterday, on the new moon/1st day of the month) (1Sam20:24 & 27)
Clearly these verses, prove that the new moon is looked at to start
a new month. Full moon is on the
      15th of the month.
Let us read what Yahshua is going
to put in place when He rules from Jerusalem.
"And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, said Elohim."(Isa66:23)
What the secular world say of-New Moon.
Since new moons happen once a month and signify the beginning
      of a cycle(Elohims New Month)
you can think of them as a cosmic
      reset.
      (mindbodygreen.com-New Moon)
The new moon marks the beginning (Elohims New Month) of a lunar cycle
This means, that there's a new
moon about once a month, because
the moon takes about a month(29,5
days) to orbit earth. The word moon
in Latin is "metri" - means to measure
      and "mensis" means month. The
moon is called the Moon because
it is used to measure the months?
      (almanac.com - what is a new moon)
      What did Elohim say:
"He created the moon, which marks the seasons..."(Ps104:19)
What does the month of "Aviv" mean?
"This month will mark the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year for you." (Ex12:2)
"Today, in the month of AVIV(ABIB), you are leaving"(Ex13:4)
Aviv(Abib) is a Hebrew word that means:
"Barley Ripening" or "Ear of Barley" or "green ears"
      If the vers(Ex13:4), was translated:
"Today, in the month of Aviv, when the Barley is Ripening, you are leaving."
      (Ex13:4).
There would have been no confusion. We would have known when Elohim's 1st day and 1st month starts on His calender.
Aviv(Abib) indicates the beginning stage of the Barley that start to develop.
In Israel, when the Barley start to show, they new the start of the New Year is close. After the Barley start to show, they look for the New Moon!!
The barley harvest is the beginning of spring, when the years firstfruit was offerd, Jesus is the First Fruit (Ezek44:30; Acts26:23; 1Cor15:20-22) to give to Elohim The first of their barley.
The weekend of 9 March 2024 the Barley started to be "Aviv" (Barley Ripening). And the 12 March 2024 the New Moon was sighted.
On Elohims calender-His New Year started on the 12 March 2024
Count 14-days and on that day is "Passover."
On God's calender, His Passover is on the 26 March 2024, this year.
"Then on the fourteenth day of the first month shall be the Lord's Passover." (Num28:16)
      (Ex12:6; Lev23:5; Num9:2-5; Joshua5:10)
"Observe the month of Aviv(Abib) and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv(Abib) He brought you out of Egypt by night." (Deut16:1-8)
Egypt represent the sin in our lifes (Gal5:19-21).
What is your "Egypt." Leave your "Egypt" this Passover and turn back to the One that give life and peace.

They could not have harvest the barley when it was completely dry? The barley still had to be green, called "green ear" barley. Would take 14th days to dry to be abel to grind it to be used. In the first century they used "sickles" to harvest the barley. If they waited for the barley to be completely dry and only then start to harvest-more then half of the barley crops would have been shaken lose and fell on the ground. The barley had to be green for them to harvest the barley- then they bind it into bondels and leave the bondels up-right to dry-that would take ± 14-days.

Thank you - that was very helpful !! So if I have understood this properly then this year in Abib 5778 the first-fruits (barley) will be ready to be presented on Sunday, 8th April, the first day following the Saturday Sabbath which falls 6-7th April in the week of unleavened bread).

Kerensa Grigson, Yes, according to our watching and the aviv report from Yisrael, that is what this family is doing. Here are some verses we have found helpful in tying the physical shadow to, and coming to a better understanding of, the spiritual reality, the perfection: Exo 23:19, Lev 23:10-11 (FIRST of the First-fruits, physical shadow) compare to Joh 20:1 & 17, Joh 20:19, Luk 24:39 (FIRST of the First-fruits, spiritual perfection). Also on that day, we will begin our 50 day tally to the one day only (Mat 7:14) Feast of Harvest (Exo 23:16 physical shadow / Act 2 spiritual reality), when the FIRST-FRUITS began to be gathered (Exo 34:22 physical shadow/ Act 2 spiritual reality).

I am also studying the priestly order in 1 Chronicles 24 which the Zadok priests kept for 1000 years until Antiochus Epiphanes IV changed the Calendar in 164BC. What is Elohims seasons: new moon, days, months, years?
"Then Elohim said, let there be lights in the sky to separate the day from the night. They will be signs and will mark seasons, days and years." (Gen1:14)

This presentation is correct in its assertion that the month Abib is determined by the first New moon closest to the Barley harvest. However, to say that the king James is incorrect is not the wisest assertion. Man thinks according to man, but not according to God (Isaiah 55:8,9). Once the first sliver of the New Moon had been observed it was then up to the Priests to determine whether the Barley would be ready to harvest in the next two weeks in order to present the first fruits. The barley therefore was not ripe in Abib, but green in the ears just as is written in Leviticus 2:14. Also, the day of firstfruits was on the 16th day of the first month, not the 18th day. The Sabbath mentioned that was the day before Firstfruits is referring to the first day of unleavened bread (Leviticus 23:6,7). It is easy to prove this for Moses asked Pharaoh to go three days into the wilderness (Exodus 3:18). These three days are the same three days that Christ was in the grave, referencing the 14th, 15th, and 16th. The 14th He died on the cross referencing Passover, the first Day of unleavened bread he rested on the Sabbath, which in His time was a high day, including both a ceremonial Sabbath and the weekly Sabbath (John 19:31), followed by Him being raised from the dead on the third day, where He brought forth the firstfruits. He died on a Friday (preparation day), rested on the Sabbath (First day of unleavened bread) and resurrected on the first day of the week (Sunday), where He presented the first fruits to come forth from the grave at His resurrection… “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.” (Matthew 27:51-53) When the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea on the third day , they were coming out of the grave (firstfruits), just as Jonah came out of the belly of the Whale after three days… “But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:39-40) These three days were the 14th, 15th and 16th. This is confirmed by Paul in Romans chapter 6 when he said… “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” (Romans 6:3-5) This is also confirmed again by Paul when he likens them coming through the Red Sea to the baptism… “Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;” (1 Corinthians 10:1-2) Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The Bible is to explain and teach us, for it is a rule of itself… “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:20-21)

Also, the hebrews were merely types, illustrating God’s true people at the end of the world, who Keep God’s Ten Commandments. The Jews rejected Christ and brought upon themselves a perpetual curse… “Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.” (Matthew 27:25) They are not the true people who will inherit all the promises… “Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." (Romans 9:6-8) “Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:” (Romans 9:27) “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” (Romans 2:28-29) “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:26-29) The remnant were all those Jews that accepted Christ and the Gentiles who who joined to them and were grafted into the Vine that the jews had been cut off from, making up the Christian Church, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ. All these things are speaking about the end of the world, where a remnant will again come forth from Seventh Day Adventists, who like the Hebrews before them will reject Christ and persecute their brethren who hold fast to the truth. History will repeat itself… “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10)

What if the new moon is the full moon? Psalm 81:3 original

    • @ThankFul-m3y
      @ThankFul-m3y 6 місяців тому

It now appears I was mistaken by thinking that the 1st day of Abib was also the 1st day of the Spring season. I also never have understood HOW a crop could be ripe for harvest 2 weeks later AFTER the 1st day of Spring. Wish someone will tell me what it is I am not getting but so far after years of requests, not one has explained this to me, i.e., what I am not getting/grasping.

I agree with all facts presented in this video, but there is a big missing piece of the puzzle. How is the new moon determined according to scripture and not Jewish tradition? Conjunction? Waxing crescent? Full moon? Also, who is the authority in Israel that determines the Abib state of the barley and the sighting of the new moon? I don’t live in Israel so I have to appeal to some authority to deliver this information in an unbiased report.

Rosh Hashanah as the new year is not a Biblical, it is a Jewish made up new year celebration. The feast on that day is called Yom Teruah and is the Feast of Trumpets not the new year. The true Biblical new year begins in the spring as shown in this video.

The Barley was in the ear (green) and the flax was in the flower. The wheat was not ruined by the hail because it was not grown to the point of being ruined. Yahweh did not leave the Egyptians completely without food as to cause them to starve. Yahweh is merciful. Also: having read so many of the comments it is painfully obvious that so many people are just plain stupid.

Correct those are special days that YHWH has separated to be Sabbaths. But concerning the Holy Week of Feast of UnleavenedBread and Feast of Tabernacles their isn’t no recorded testimony in the Torah or Prophets that indicate that 3 days of Sabbaths were conducted in a 7 day period. Dates are given not Days. Meaning for example for the Feast of Tabs the 15th is a Sabbath and 22nd is a sabbath.

Where do you get the idea that the Jewish new year starts at Passover. Every source including the bible says the new year starts at the blowing of the shofar which happens in the first fall feast, the feast of trumpets. Even the second scripture you presented says the blowing of the trumpet then you say it's at Passover. During Passover the Jews were sitting in their homes eating as a family after spreading blood over their doors. I do not remember them blowing the shofar at Passover.

      (Exodus 12:2-11)
2This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. 8And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.

Good day, no verse that say feast of Trumpets is the new year. But it does say: "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation."(Lev23:24). Was only after they returned from Babylon captivity that the Jews start to celebrate the new year on the first day of the 7th month on feast of trumpets. The phrase "Rosh Hashanah" shows up for the first time in the Mishna,(Mishna is basically the jewish-oral law)a Jewish code of law, compiled in 200AD. Gods new year always starts in the month of Abib, month when Passover is celebrated.

Good day, The trumpet was also blown on the new moon(Numbers10:10).
But Yahweh gave the command to Moses of blowing the trumpets only after they have left Egipt(read Numbers 10)
They would not have blown the trumpets on the night of the spreading of blood on the doors.

He is the anointed one. He is the SON of Yahovah, not part of an unholy trinity that we all have been taught. You will not find it in the scriptures. There is evidence that the church of Rome added verses to coincide with their doctrine. Its not from the Father. Everywhere throughout scripture you read THE SON OF GOD. SON....

@@amazinggrace5338 Hi, Amazing Grace! Do you believe that Jesus, the Son of God came, died and rose again on third day, according to the scriptures? That Jesus's blood paid for your sin? That it's what He did, not what you do, that Saved you? All of Him, not any of you? Then I am your sister in Christ! You are my brother or sister in Christ Jesus!
I do believe that the KJV Bible is the inerrant word of God! I believe that my God is strong enough to Save me and keep me Saved until the day of Redemption!!! That He is strong enough to make sure that His Bible, His word and His instructions to us are not changed! Now, that being said, every translation since then had to change at least 25% to be a new translation and to be published! I love you and hope to see you soon! Maranatha? Come Lord Jesus, come!

Abib is not RIPE, BUT GREEN IN THE EAR! People just love to live by the Pope Mess, MASSIVE lie or pact set by Pope Gregory/Hillel II/Constantine! Again, keeping PESHA in April as the RCC!

Do agree, the barley still had to be green, called "green ear" barley. Would take 14th days to dry to be abel to grind it to be used. In the first century they used "sickles" to harvest the barkey. If they waited for the barley to be completely dry and only then start to harvest-more then half of the barley crops would have been shaken lose and fell on the ground. The barley had to be green for them to harvest the barley- then they bind it into bondels and leave the bondels up-right to dry-that would take ± 14-days.
