    Wow!
    I know gold is a lil easier to work with than a lot of other metals but I bet he could make plain old gears and irons chain look amazing !
    True artist and from start to finish.
    It's just crazy that it just happens to be that much gold !
    My man !

    I just entrusted you guys with the task of creating my 14mm - 8” Cuban link bracelet & I’m feeling more & more confident with my purchase as I view more & more videos. I already had faith in your process or I wouldn’t have released the necessary funds to get my piece made, but I’m just in a better mental space knowing that I trusted the right people. Daniel you’re the SHIT! Keep up the good work bro.

    Yooo!! Never ever put your hand in front of the XRF like that. You should always be behind the high energy beam. It is known to cause cancer due to the radiation. Please reconsider your handling and usage of the machine. It should be used with great respect. Great work by the way!

    • @jakeschlachter3104
      @jakeschlachter3104 3 роки тому +4

      @@irishuwould5185 nahhh, the xrf gives off a focused direct beam of high energy (X-Ray) ionizing radiation. Getting hit with ionizing radiation causes electrons to be ejected from the outer shells of atoms. That’s bad for you, to keep it short. Your phone doesn’t do that. A cell phone instead emits (gives off) very low levels of non ionizing radiation, aka radio frequency energy.

    Final specs on mine: 7mm 20” WG 76.1g
    Perfect thickness, length and weight for me. I’m used to wearing a lighter weight link chain and this one has a nice weight that you definitely feel around your neck, but not too heavy.
    You guys are the best 👍

    How do you determine how much you need to reduce the width of the wire in the draw plate when forming the links, is there a specific diameter you need to make the wire to end up with the desired width of the chain or is the final width of the chain determined by the size of the mandrill you coil the wire around?

    • @tblz406
      @tblz406 3 роки тому

      It’s both, they have sizing charts online for that too if it’s helpful. Think about the fact that if you have a thin wire on a thick mandrel vs a thick wire on the same mandrel, the width of both links will be significantly different due to the extra width of the thicker wire.

    Is a Cuban link always supposed to hang straight because iv heard some people say once it’s over 14mm a lil twist is better for wearing on the neck

    • @DanielJewelryInc
      @DanielJewelryInc  2 роки тому +1

      Hi,
      Over time links can flip if you sleep with it or ball or up in your hand. Those can easily be flipped and put back to original straight position. Over 14mm chains really do not require that little twist. Usually is about 17mm and up but it can be made straight you would just need to sacrifice other qualities. Like have the links a bit more spaced. If we make it a bit more spaced it can hang straight no matter how big it is. But it you would like it really tight on big links you would need that slight twist.
      Thank you

    What wax did you use to put the chain on the wood before filing? What is the machine you used to twist the links to form the Cuban Links?

      R A There is many things that could of happened when making a Chain to not hang straight once new. The main cause is In the twisting of the chain. Many people think it’s In the file work but that is incorrect. When a chain is straight when new then does not hang straight after, the most popular issue is a flipped link that can easily be corrected or if it had massive abuse where a link is warped out of shape it will become unfixable or very challenging to fix and at that point melting it down is your best bet. Thanks for watching!
