- Christ walks on the Emmaus road. He appears with a body of flesh and bones, eats food, testifies of His divinity, and promises the Holy Ghost.
Luke 24:13-35 13
13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

I work in ICU as a Nurse, I am confident that he has walked the halls among the sick and dying, truly my heart did burn on these occasions. Doubt not .

I love this too. I think we can have our own walks and talks with the Savior. Sometimes, in quiet moments when I pray I feel him near. We can feel that sweet burn in heart of his love and friendship. He is the most important relationship in our lives.
I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is perfect, just, and so good. His love is the greatest gift.

The most marvelous thing for me is the resurrection , when I,m outside in the city driving and see homeless people suffering I get the hope that everyone will have a change , and all the suffering will just for a little bit longer , Jesus has defeated death what a marvelous thing thank Savior !!

Roman law allowed for a Roman soldier to compel a Jew to help carry their equipment for one mile. Jesus was telling them to go two miles as to set a good example as a follower of Christ.

What a WONDERFUL experience of these deciples: To be chosen by Jesus Christ to talk, walk, and having Him at their house and eat with Him after his resurrection. Interesting observation of one of them said: 32 And they said one to another, DID NOT OUR HEART BURN WITHIN US, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? THEY HAD THE SAME FEELING BY THE HOLLY GHOST.
Secrets of Heavens are in front of our eyes everyday, we just have to pay attention to see it.

My favorite thing about this story is that Christ shows these two people how much love he has for them by spending so much time with them. Service can seem onerous, but when we truly love those we serve, it becomes a joy. For both parties involved.

Jesus is the one I look up to the most in my life ever since my parents got divorced. I want to be just like him.
Then recognize what you can do for the benefit of us all (your cross) and go willingly into that hellish path, in which you would end up most likely broken. But don't let that discourage you because whoever takes that route willingly shall be resurrected. Push on, my brother in Christ!
PS: What I wrote isn't included in the dogma of the Chruch. It's one of the symbolic meanings behind the crucifiction and resurrection.

I’ve always loved this story. There have been many times in my life when I’ve realized during and after the fact that The Lord has been with me in times when I’ve needed Him. My heart truly has burned.
This is very indicative of how the Savior is at all times, before, during and after his crucifixion, namely patient, loving and always listening, but never imposing Himself on anyone. He gently knocks on our door then we must open our hearts to Him.
I love the videos and I love reading the comments of what God has done for people, at 72 yrs of age he has blessed me and healed me of cancer and i sit here recovering from covid, he is the same yesterday today and forever and never leave us nor forsake us praise his holy name!!
Had tears in myveyes while watching this. I know that I am a sinner but I know that I feel awe in the presence of the Lord. I pray that through his grace I may one day enter His kingdom to live there forever and to be reunited with my loved ones gone before me. Praise the Lord.

I testify that the things shown in this video are true, they did happen, I know because while i was watching the video, when they opened their eyes after the prayer and saw that The Saviour had gone, in this very moment I FELT the Holy Ghost through a shiver that came all the way from the top of my head to my spine, and made me cry. I am autistic, and because of my conditions it is very hard and rare for me to cry. I'm also not a member of the Church anymore, but I KNOW that i'll soon be again, even being out of the church and without the convenants I now know how much are precious, much better than i would if i didn't passed what i have to pass through, I never lost faith completly, because of the Mercy of our Heavenly Father, and the testemonies He gave me of good will, so I would know that in the end, there is a happy ending.
