I've watched a lot of these now and I can tell a lot of effort has been put into producing this content. But sometimes it seems that the question asked at the storyboard stage was, "What would be the most entertaining thing for us to film in relation to this chapter?" Constructive criticism: These videos would be A LOT more helpful if the question asked was instead, "What concept from this chapter is most difficult for students to grasp and what can we do to help them make the right connections to overcome misconceptions about the content?" It seems like this question would be pretty easy to answer given that every PHY S 100 student gives that feedback before each class in the reading quiz.
