Congratulations to you both and thanks for sharing your birth story. The birth of my son 10 years ago was similar to yours in so many ways and I say the weeks post birth were so much worse than the birth itself. So much happened that I had no idea could (I couldn't wee for 2 weeks🤯). Congratulations again 💗💗💗
Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy! I also had forceps and an episiotomy. My biggest fear was tearing and I ended up with a third degree tear. Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!
Oh girl, I had an episiotomy and the same thing happened to me. I feel the pain. The labour and birth was the most amazing experience but ahhh to the after!! Xx
Don’t let people scare you about sleep! My baby is 6 months and been so good at sleep since birth and everyone says all the time just wait she won’t etc but 6 months in and we’re still good! Sometimes you just have a good sleeper ! Cx
I had episiotomy and no issues with healing. 2nd baby - tore naturally, no issues healing. You poor thing Molly ❤ Jude is such a beautiful bonny baby congratulations xxx
Congratulations Molly! My bf slept on the hard floor for one night. Luckily we had our own room as I had a section & premature baby. They should definitely have more of the recliner chairs! X
Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! 🩵 I had the exact same situation as you with your forceps delivery and ruptured stitches with the infection, the drip and everything, I hadn’t heard of anyone else having it before I gave birth or after either, I cried so much having to stay in hospital too for it and I got put in a private room too, can’t believe how similar our experiences are. Such a traumatising experience, the aftermath is the worst for people like us! I was a month in and only just started feeling better too, i really wish it’s spoken about more as I was so naive about it too! 😢 We also have a miniature dachshund and ours is so protective of our baby and they are becoming little best friends!
