For real, I had gotten bored of Skyrim cause I had never modded it. Then I discovered these guys and I cannot imagine playing it alone again 😂
They make the world feel so much more alive imo. It's kinda lonely without 'em.
@@stolensweetroll_ I know right! It’s just too quiet without them. They really do make it feel alive cause they act so much more like normal people than the vanilla followers or anyone else in the game really

Best chaotic mix of follower mods -
Inigo - Kaidan - Lucien + Auri ( Two knuckleheads, one broody guy, a snarky forest hippie ) - they all interact with an interesting dynamic -
Lucien likes Auri, Auri likes Kaidan but Kaidan is creeped out by her + may like you, Kaidan & Lucien can't stand each other, Inigo is a goofball who gets along with everyone
Remiel, Xelzaz, Redcap - Scatter-brained Engineer and a snotty Wizard - they like each other, Redcap acts like their child & annoys them both
Gore, Auri, Remiel - Auri and Remi get along like besties. Gore treats them like sisters
SDA Serana, Remiel, Inigo, Kaidan, Auri - They are all scared of Serana except Kaidan, Remiel is curious about Serana but also horrified & scared at the same time, Auri and SDA Serana get along well - since both of them are predators
My mod only allows five followers at a time, so it’s really hard to choose between these groups, they are all so interesting.😅😅

Bruh, if these companions didn't exist, Skyrim wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable. I love these guys so much, you have no idea 💓💓💓
My greatest fantasy is to learn how to use creation kit so I can make a chill/skooma addict Bosmer guy. Thankfully Joseph Russel (Lucien) put out a guide, for any who want to do the same, give it a watch!

it is OP sometimes at this point, but the conversations I get from them, plus the trash talking makes it more fun.. I can't live without them now.. I might even add the Aldmeri Prince and the Teenage Argonian.

Even thou i played skyrim for only two and a half years, i really fuck with the custom followers. it's usually Inigo, Lucien, Kaidan, Auri, Serana and now it maybe some newer folks along the way. The peak of it was like what happened at the beginning of the video of getting mugged with 4-5 followers right behind me xD

Just started my first proper playthrough with the modded crew (discovered all of them in late game so didn’t get the full experience)(been playing and modding Skyrim for years, can’t believe I never discovered the follower mods before now)(the only one I knew of was Shirley/Skyrim grandma).
My current and new character I am playing is Ma-Zara (it’s supposed to be Ma’Zara but my keyboard wouldn’t do the symbol and I couldn’t be bothered to open a webpage to copy and paste it so I just left it)(plus he was adopted and raised by Argonians and since they use -, i figure that would be a better excuse than my laziness, idk don’t come at me) a young male Khajiit, light armour stealth Archer (how Original I know) with the Live Alternative Life and Legacy of the Dragonborn mods (so has Guildmaster/Relic Hunter for the Explorers guild as my start), have currently picked up Shirley, Lucifer, Sofia, Kaidan (which I’m planning on romancing, again so original I know), Xelzaz,Lucien, Inigo and Khash (with plans to add Auri, Miraak,Nebarra, Remiel, Thogra, Redcap, Morgaine, Artigun, Caryalind Thallery, Varrick and some others that I can’t remember)(and that’s just the own framework ones, I got Nether Follower Framework and Interesting NPCs as well so that’s 10 more for my personal army)(and for my fellow army builders, the mod “I’m Walking Here” on Nexus is a godsend cuz it lets you walk right through them).
So my character will be well protected but boy will he level slowly due to him maybe getting in an arrow or two on the enemy while the followers take care of the rest.
It’s gonna be chaos but like others have said, the game is finally interesting again cuz no matter how difficult or dull a thing can get, at least you got an army of friends to spice things up with the weirdest comments.
There’s no going back from this, the game is actually now interesting enough to see through to the end to catch all of their dialogue alone.
(Didn’t mean to write a whole novel about my current characters adventures and his private army but figured I would share regardless).

Can’t forget my two followers (pets) the dragons Philmorex (which you can get after Dragons Rising) and Silah (found at the Throat of the World), both on Nexus, that’s right you can get dragons as followers.
Can’t wait until I get to Sovngarde and be able to face Alduin with those three heroes and half my army of followers that I can just summon in, it’s gonna be great.
All of Skyrim is quaking, and it’s only gonna get worse, and I can’t wait for this nightmare/masterpiece if chaos.
I never really put much thought into vanilla followers in Skyrim, they were just...there, useful but nothing more, after playing the Dragon Age series I realized just how much they lifted the game and then it hit me, maybe someone made custom voiced followers for Skyrim?
And after a few months of a new play through I have so many fond memories between all of them, SPECIALLY Serana DA, Auri, Inigo, Lucien and Kaidan, truly a merry bunch to travel with...except when they start fighting each other because of friendly fire lol

I know, I'm sorryyy 😭😭 I love Kai but I got too far into his romance route before realising I miss Farkas and now every time Kaidan says something mushy (especially in front of other followers), I gotta cool him off because it's awkward
What mod is that to make your characters, and you dance? :0 i so need to get my group jamming out together LOL

Unrelated question, but is there a way to have all my followers live in one place? Im using Dragons Blood Castle as my home and im trying to make it feel more lived in.

How do you get multiple followers??
You can have multiple custom followers with eachother and then I ~think~ Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) allows for multiple vanilla followers
