Yo this is the only cod game I didn't get. Bo4, advanced warfare, ghosts, I even got cold war and mw 2019. We have to show these creators that we won't just eat up everything with a cod title. At this point, i would love for them to make a stand alone zombies game, last time i had a fun playing zombies, was WW2, doing the different EE with a friend of mine, sitting up almost all night, trying to figure out the next steps.
Everything said about this game is well deserved. But I enjoyed playing it. Me personally idgaf about what era of cod were in. The 10 attachments where incredibly hilarious and nobody made content on it which is sad. Some of the maps do blow but combat pacing makes it so much better. I liked the idea of the game but the execution was chalked. Sledgehammer still blows for giving us the BS game but I liked simply for the BS. But when MW2 comes out best believe I’m uninstalling

Vanguard was... something. Considering the leaks of it being revealed to be a WW2 game, again, and by Sledgehammer, again, nobody wanted the game to come out. Nobody. They tried it with LITERALLY COD WWII and it was mid at best. But we didn't want another WW2 era COD because, honestly, it will never beat World At War. Plus, we are in a time that COD should cease to do WW2 era games with how arcadey the gameplay is. Not only that, what other thing can they do without being criticized for certain changes of historical weaponry. At least with Battlefield V, the guns werr modeled closely to the real-life counter part with some differences. Doesn't go crazy of giving you made-up attachments that turns a piece of history into an amalgamation. Eventually they stopped caring. Therefore they lost its identity of Vanguard where it just became a game, set in a WW2 setting but having ridiculous cosmetics and features. The zombies mode, on one hand, is the worst zombies mode. Period. Campaign was mid. Not too great but not bad either though it is a part of Vanguard which says something. Vanguard, as a whole, was just a case of "Why?" Like Merk said. To add WW2 weapons into Warzone. Nothing else about Vanguard mattered. It existed just to exist.

But seriously. this game happens when companies trickle feed their consumers. the you of even 5 years ago would not have put up with this money Siphon. they stole from other content creators and they robbed your of your time and made it look like a good idea to do so.
Vanguard had potential to be a really good and solid COD game but it wasn’t properly executed. But I do feel like Vanguard will pull COD WW2 where it sucked and then a couple years later everyone looks back at it says “Wow this game was so underrated”.

Cod vanguard was one of the cod games of all time truly inspiring I just loved the part in campaign when one of the characters said "it's vanguarding time" then started vanguarding all over the place 10/10 masterpiece 👌
I think it's absolutely insane that you have to pay for the game, (pay a monthly prescription to have access to the multiplayer= Playstation and Xbox) and then they still ask money for battlepasses and bundles that are more expensive than those of some free to play games.

my favourite memory from this game was downloading it for the "play for 2 weeks for free" so i did, hit max level, unlocked all the characters and then finished the battlepass for that season, without buying it, then bought it cause i thought why not, best 12 dollars i spent on a cod game.
This dude put MW3 is A tier. That game has to be in God Tier + and take w@w and cod 4 out of god tier and in A tier but w@w even lower that game gargabe. BO4 is my fav black ops mp and bo3 is my fav black ops zombies so those go up to A tier right away. IW in A Tier for sure. MW2 also in God Tier. WW2 B Tier. Ghosts and AW in C. Black Ops 1 and 2 in F cuz I didnt play them alot cuz MW3>All.

Actually the one eye closing when ADSing is a neat detail. It was also in MW2019 and BOCW though so Vanguard isn't getting credit.
