Hi Lauren. I have been following you for about 6 months now and I have been impressed by your energy. I am a 67 year old wife, mother, and grandmother. I live about 20 minutes north of Sacramento. I love home, family, and my faith. I always do my big house clean up in January... I used to be able to get it all done in a day or two but now it takes more like a week or two BUT the feeling of having a clean fresh home is just the best. No one cleans your house better than you, yourself! This is what I plan on doing tomorrow since I put all the Christmas decor away today ( and put Valentines decor out}! I also plan on starting the 30 day challenge Monday the 4th. I was so impressed how easy you made putting the holiday decor away! I always use a toothbrush for those hard to reach areas! They work wonders!

You may like E-cloths for windows, mirrors, frames. One rag use water, other dry cloth dries with NO streaks! They are absolutely amazing.
I used those in the past.. I am a weirdo, I just love cleaning supplies 😁

I discovered Mrs Meyers, Basil scent, last Spring. I repainted my kitchen and was using it to clean my cupboards and counters. It smelled so clean and fresh. As a matter of fact my Mom and sister came over to see it and as they walked up, I had my kitchen window open, and my sister said I want to know what you are using to clean that smells so good. I said you can smell it outside? My Mom said you sure can. So I have recommended it to anyone that would listen, haha. I also have used old toothbrushes to clean for years, they work great! And lastly, in my house while cleaning and listening to my music on my iPod it is a sure thing that singing and dancing will happen! Lol! Well with me pretty much it happens no matter what I’m doing and music is playing. Even yesterday while taking down my yard decor, I had my iPod speaker going and well..... 😆

I am a little OCD with my house. I work a lot of hours, so I have someone who comes to clean every 3 weeks which gives me time to concentrate on projects in my house like organizing, decluttering or a very specific focus to an area to deep clean. You did an awesome job! Loved the video!

I thought I was the only one that used old toothbrushes. I use white vinegar on all my baseboards, door jams and door frames.
I do the same...I make homemade cleaner with white vinegar,and orange peels in mason jar and let it sit for a week and keep changing peels then when ready to use put vinegar in spray bottle just about 1/4 cup and fill with water..best cleaner ever can use it in all surfaces and mirrors etc.
Old toothbrushes are the best thing for cleaning! 😊

I’ve been looking forward to this video. I was hoping you’d share your deep clean with us. And I am definitely going to try Pine-Sol on my painted white baseboards and trim. That is one I haven’t tried. I have struggled with the buildup of dust and lint on my baseboards due to our bi-monthly pest control. The spray dries quickly and is safe for pets and humans. But man, over time the dust just doesn’t come off without some elbow grease. The only thing that blasted through that thin but annoying layer of junk was a vinegar-based cleaning spray i had found at TJ Maxx once. But it looks like what you did was really effective. Lauren, you do such a good job of motivating that sometimes 5 minutes in to your videos I have to jump up and start cleaning!...I do have a question...what do you spray on those framed pictures that cleans the glass but doesn’t hurt the frames?
Yayyy!!!! I use the foam cleaner because its much thicker and not watery so it doesn't damage the photos underneath - but I never spray the painting without glass - I will spray the rag then wipe down the frames. Here is the cleaner amzn.to/3o87roQ 💕💕

Hi, I’m a 56 year old lady from UK. Just found your videos. Your house is lovely. I do not envy you having to dust/clean all those pictures!
My biggest and best trick for removing stains from any sort of fabric....chairs, couches, laundry, ect...is Dawn dish liquid ( it MUST be the original blue) and peroxide
Put it in a spray bottle.
I don't know if the mixture really matters, but I do probably about 2/3 Dawn and 1/3 peroxide.
Spray the surface well and scrub/ wipe with a damp cloth ot tootbrush.
Allow to air dry.
Works 100% 👍

My two year old - for some reason - only colors on one very specific area of the wall. I have to supervise his coloring but sometimes he will find a rogue crayon, go right to that spot and draw his vertical lines. I don't allow him to do it - that little vandal is thwarted each time - but I have stopped cleaning it up, actually. Now there's a little mural - a rainbow of all the crayons he's sneaked over there.
