- CIS released a devblog showing the new ships coming to their server, and all I can say is that vodka was absolutely involved. Soviet Kearsarge with secondaries, Super Zao (Senjo), a T10 Illinois and more.

Some of these designs are just absurd and demented, yet they seem a lot more interesting than WGs latest 3 copy pasta ships and asking people to spend a fortune to get new ships.

I play wows almost 6 years , I have over 400 ships , 78 T10 , 15 T11 , I have in 14 days regrinded lines 14 times , for free now I have 153k RP , I gat kitakami and I will make another atempt to sell my wows account , as I dont see point to collect ships , because WG release whole the time new ships , and my collection will never be complete , wows was my first MMO and she is my last , I will play more single player games , I have my second wows account , and on that one I will play below T7 ships , no ranked no , clan battles , no gathering steel or RP , just some random clanless weekend worrior .
@Ilias_Goddess she should get the Soviet Gun Balistics sounds like her range is meh I play Kearsarge at medium range

Not just Vodka. The entire Northern Distillery of Russia gave them a weekend pass for free vodka. Because that 14 flak on a RUSSIAN Kearsage floored me into the next realm XD

Just an FYI, the Kearsarge was actually supposed to be built for the soviets, the us naval institute has an article on it, although it never really left the drawing board for a multitude of reasons, so yeah the Severomorsk isnt complete wargaming fantasy, but they're embellishing its story and statistics
Stop backing up those communist fairy tales. There is a long long looooong long road from a loose napkin concept to a "drawing board" design. For a "multitude of reasons". And Soviets weren't able to design ANYTHING LARGER THAN A DESTROYER. The largest Soviet-designed ship class were failed Leningrads. For a battleship, they weren't even able to gather materials, not to mention building a single hull. Napkin fantasy drawings created to please Stalin and avoid gulag are NOT "ship designs" nor "building plans". Russia self-destroyed its shipbuilding industry during the Revolution and somewhat returned to some capacity only in the late 1950's, LONG AFTER the supposed timeframe of this game.

I like how the dev blog starts with super Zao as a sightly upgraded version of the crusiser, and then it goes full BB balancing with the SKIP BOMBERS, INCREDIBLE AA, BEST DPM, IMPROVED HEALS, CONCEAL, FAST AS BALLS TURRET TRAVERSE, 12 OR 16 GOONS...

You should also be able to spec Plotting Room on the New Hampshire to improved on the BB accuracy. Not sure how close that brings it to DM levels, but it will make it even more interesting.

well CV already have protection system in place: from single ship only 6 flak (Inner Flak) max can spawn in front of the planes, rest is put outside (Outer Flak)
I remember when the CV rework FIRST DROPED, Medium Range AA guns also counted for FLAK guns. Texas had 10 or 12 FLAK and that was a "FUCK YOU PLANES" No Fly zone in of itself. North Carolina had like 14 or 16 FLAK (been a while, don't recall what it was). THOSE SHIPS WHERE UNTOUCHABLE!

@@arczer2519 You don't get it, that means their is no "dodging" the FLAK WALL! Sure 6 FLAK will spawn in front of you, but then the rest will form a WALL to the left and right of that area. You WILL hit Flak, their is no DODGE.
also cool other thing is Gibbs & Cox is still around making ships. not only these USA hybrid ships they prosed. they also made the Mahan-class destroyer, Gleaves-class destroyer,EC2-S-C1-class transport ("Liberty ships" Tacoma-class frigate Captain-class frigate Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate Freedom-class Littoral Combat Ship ALSO THE FAMOUS Arleigh Burke-class destroyer.

The torpedos ruin it. I mean I abandoned this game late last year but it should have the zao 12km ones. the 20s are fucking useless because of the speed and detection range.
Also the turning circle and rudder kind of ruin it too, considering that its also way bigger for NO reason, AND instead of a flat deck, has shell catchers.
The ship is a side grade at best, especially considering it is less accurate innately AND cant get the zao accuracy module.
They would have to give it >32mm plating for it to beven concievably good, or at the very best a large belt thats >32.
I don't drink but I'm heading to the store to get a case of White Claw after that.

Well.. when I first heard about a potential "super-Zao" a while ago I thought they would never be able to make it "super" while still keeping Zao's main advantages... Oh boy was I wrong... that thing might have the potential to be actually really enjoyable. And I am talking from the perspective of a Zao Main with more than 2k battles on that Boat. I would have never imagined they would keep Zao's 9,9km conceal on a T11 Zao.. but they did.. that rudder shift time though is a nightmare. The insane 5sec rudder shift on Zao makes it so incredibly easy to dodge incoming shells but with senyo you gotta be a lot more careful. And then better guns, better torp angles. Still I wish they gave her multiple torpedo choices. 20km and 12km to choose from in the match would make it perfect.
From what I see here: LIKE! I want that on the main Wows aswell!
Heck, Wargaming needs to add all original Tillman Maximum Battleship designs to the game at Tier ten for laughs and giggles since many have alot of guns.

That 2.5km detect on the super zao torps isnt good
Tbh when compared to Conde or Annapolis it doesn't seem super but then again I don't think super ships need to be broken to be called super I think this is a much better rout for the game if they just size things up and upgrade everything a bit on the ship and call it a day

For the Senjo, since the guns are a merger with, Germany, will the guns get the same HE pen bonus? If so.. That will piss a lot of people off. This actually seems (on paper) like a Super Ship, I would enjoy playing.
And now immagine playing GK and face this New Hampshire DPM. Honestly i would just leave the keyboard and get some cold beer. Once i am back from the kitchen my GK should be burned to the ground.

based on devblog, it seems like they are splitting for good now.
Maybe they had a transition period where both WG and lesta were developing the game together as a transition period before completely independent.
It has been around 6 months since split which makes sense.
I expect WG's WoWs will have decrease in quality or at best stagnant in the forseeable future.

For me, WG's WoWs is lacking "Game Master". A role to give interesting idea for event.

Came back to the game after a long time gone (I'm a CBT player) I read the updated EULA. WG appears to be absolving themselves of ANY responsibility to the player, regardless of harm caused through their products. I uninstalled all WG products.
It's not acceptable for a commercial entity to collect personal data, and then claim they have no responsibly to safeguard it. So I'm out.

CLEARLY what they're doing with superships is fixing the issues with older tier 10s by introducing a tier 11 version of them with added gimmicks that you have to spend a fuck ton of credits on. Typical filthy WG tactics.
