    Seeing the track close-up from this point of view, you realise the staggering amount of timber used throughout the world for railways. Poor trees - no wonder so many forests were decimated to make way for farming, fenceposts, telephone poles and house cladding. Most rail ties (sleepers) are concrete now, as are power-poles. And that's a good thing I guess.

      Newer lines usually use concrete slippers

    So this is a long shot, but are you still in Nampa? I am interested in how to build one of these. I live in Star.

      superbaja72 I am in the valley still. I built it myself but the wheels which I upgraded to since this is an old video can be found at railriders.com he is a good friend of mine and can provide you with more than just wheels. Find him as well on Facebook

      @@Eriks191 What's my chances of getting you to build me one? And what would it cost me to have you do it? On a side note....have you ever ridden your car up Thunder Mountain Line, from Horseshoe Bend to Cascade?
