Thanks for posting this video. I was there as AMC medical officer working with Border Roads and Army at Nimmu and building the first bridge across the Indus river to start this road.
Earlier, it was known as non metalled CHADAR Track. BRO is transforming this non metalled track into a Road. Progress of work of BRO is very very SLOW. Some important bridges and water passes should have been built at Gonbo Ranjan Hill and Kurgiak. At Purney, the road is narrow and steep. No efforts have been noticed for SHINKU La Tunnel. BRO is a big Failure. Construction work should be transferred to NHAI under Ministry of Road Transport.
🙏, Sir ,we are going to pangong on 13/7/24 ,will we be able to get access of this road ? And approximately how long it will take from pangong to manali by car and also approx distance .
