WCBS “Newsradio 88” - The Final Sign-Off - 8/25/24

And now, for the first time ever, the final sign-off of WCBS “Newsradio 88” from 8/25/24.
I put these two together using the online stream, courtesy of Charles Jordan, and added this on-air AM radio version, courtesy of Diamond Joe and piece them together using Audacity, so that it would be re-edit due to commercial loads. As for the AM side, apologies for the poor sound quality.
This is a trip back through Memory Lane as WCBS signed off last night forever. Wayne Cabot hosted the final moments of the station at 11:45PM where it ended at 12:00AM to make way for ESPN Radio as WHSQ.
