I don't see a "deadman in use Mick. also a breathing filter before the helmet. I'm sure you have them somewhere in the interest of safety & your health.
The helmet has it's own separate breathing apparatus. A filter system would be shredded or interfere with helmet. And most nozzle/hoses have manual controls, simply let go of trigger and the feed stops.
