If I'm not mistaken, the town of Bruneck has a population of 16,000. For the Academy of Ancient Music Bruneck to put on such a spirited and skilled performance is really something. The spirit is just right!
One of the most wonderful symphonies ever (in the 2nd movement there's the whole late 18th century) performed with passion and vigor. Only question: why not the repeats in the 2nd movement? Without them, the symphony sounds unbalanced
You make a good point about the da capo (repeat) markings. 18th century composers - and beyond - wrote them as instructions, not take-it-or-leave-it optional suggestions; where written, they should be observed.
Yes indeed. The Akademie fur Alte Musik Berlin play both half repeats in the second movement. Incidentally, so does Hermann Scherchen, back in 1951 (!), and, with the slow tempi in fashion at that time, the slow movement clocks in at a whopping 14 minutes!
素敵な、名曲を素晴らしい名演で聴け感無量です。👏👏‼️

Wunderbarer Klang! Professionelle Aufnahme!
Dankeschön!
Best interpretation I've heard! ❤
Intérpretes emocionantes! Brilhantes.
Such a powerful minor key symphony... The third movement is probably my favorite piece by any of the Bach Sons! Beautiful performance!
Magnífica interpretación de una obra maestra de la música. Felicitaciones

Absolutely fabulous!
Johann Christian Bach was a German composer of the classical era.
Johann Christian Bach, the youngest son of Johann Sebastian Bach, was born in 1735 in Leipzig. 3:00
He is noted for playing a role in influencing the concerto styles of Haydn and Mozart.
He was taught to play keyboard instruments and music theory by his father from an early age.
He is also known as "the English Bach"! 6:00
WOOOOOOOW.....SPITZE
Não conhecia. Bela obra!
Wow!
sensationell!
Sometimes I think who was better, father or son? Junior was also great!
Не только отец Бах гений в музыке, но и его прекрасный сын Иоган Кристиан.
No less than Mozart sought him out to be a teacher. They developed a very high regard for one another.

Ah yes. J.C Bach
1:32 this is very similar to Beethoven 1st simphony development haha
They all loved J.C.
You may be thinking of Mozart's Symphony No. 34 in C major.
Bemerkenswert! Dieser Klang macht süchtig! 😊 Ich bin ein Fan des Orchesters der Akademie für Alte Musik Bruneck 2020!
