Possibly one of the best songs ever written in any genre.
Love y’all.
I’m old school and can’t drop a door on anyone even if they are 30 feet away.
I was raised by Southern Baptist grandparents in East TN, Knoxville, Smoky Mtn Area. I joined the USAF and traveled like never before and even against, what could be considered opposing forces, nations, cultures, etc. I was always polite, Southern gentleman style, the way I was raised..... I've NEVER been met by any civilians, that we couldn't even communicate with word's, that were anything other than a blessing to me in my travels. Manners and kindness are a long forgotten UNIVERSAL language/action... ALWAYS STAY HUMBLE AND KIND, God will put the right people in your path and smite with you the one's set on destroying not only you, but their own..... "Good Vibes Baby, Good Vibes" ... God knows our heart's. I love y'all and happy Valentines Day. 💙
We definitely all need a reminder to be Humble and Kind. This world is so much more than Politics. We're all humans and need to show love and compassion towards all. 🙏
Joe Smith The actual irony is thinking Tim McGraw would agree with you. You realize Tim McGraw is openly a democrat and has hosted, donated, and given speeches for liberal candidates, right? He actively campaigned for Obama and Kerry. He would absolutely disagree with what you’re saying.
@@ZaneTheBaker how would he disagree the guy said forgot politics we need to be humble and kind to all humans
Agreed
Amen
A woman wrote this song at her kitchen table after dropping her 5 kids of at school. Tim McGraw loved it, he and Faith Hill have been married 25 yrs with 3 daughters. Watch "I Need You " Live.
This song needs to be heard at least once a day.
You never know what someone is dealing with on any given day.
I used to tell my daughters that, when they went to school. Don't judge your schoolmates, you don't know what's going on at their home. For all you know, their parents are mean to them or worse.
Always be nice, no matter what.
It's all about ethics, morals, integrity.
Don't try teaching this to your kids when they're teenagers. Start when they're 2 to 5, 5 to 10 yrs old. It's worth it.
So proud of my girls.
When you were talking about your you tube taking off being successful just remember you ARE successful now by bringing so many of us smiles and joy.
Live like you were dying, and One of these days are wonderful songs by him as well. He's one of my all time favorites. He puts on a great concert as well.
Tim mcraws wife faith hill is also a country music star. They have several duets. “Speak to a girl” is a great duet that educates men in how you should speak to your woman🌹
Songs like this are why I love country music.
When you paused and commented on "bitterness keeps you from flying" : it hit home after today. Thank you.
Me too. I had to rewind and listen to that again. Let it really sink in. 🙏❤
I always loved that part didn't that some real good advice I've always loved this song I'm so glad they did
@@christienegrete7616 Bad days come, then we just need something like this to make us stop and go: better is coming. all the best
Sure did
💞
Tim McGraw: Grown men don’t cry. One of my absolute favorites!
My Mother always told me that opening a door for a lady is not a sexist move, it is only a gesture to tell them that I am a good man, and I do not want you to have to do that while I am around. My Mother taught me that a real man does this because he is a gentleman, and nothing more. So ladies please do not be insulted when a man does this, because maybe he had a good Mama. Great job you two. Thanks!
You should react to Luke Bryan - “Most People Are Good”
This is one of favorite songs and it’s much needed in this time of division!
I’d love to see what y’all think!!!
This is my song for my son. He's been through a lot in his 18 years but has come out like a champion. He's now a college athlete with athletic and academic scholarships and all I ever taught him are the words to this song.
My son and I have listened to this for years now. The other day I asked him to explain the message in the song. My 9 year old son looks at me with a little smirk and says "simple don't be an asshole ". Took me a moment, (had to keep from laughing), told him that language is not okay for a 9 year old.
He apologized, then said quietly, (I'm not wrong though.) 😂😂😂
hahaha oh man, this made me laugh. Great job, sir. He sounds like a fantastic young man.
He ain't wrong 🤣🤣
“Don’t be an asshole, “ I’m laughing so hard I’m tearing up!
Maybe that'll be Tim's next hit..." Don't be an asshole"
Lol
Where I'm from. I was raised, please, thank you. Yes ma'am, sir,... Hold doors for people. It's everyday life. We try to pass it down to our children.
you two are the reason why i cant understand ppls hatred or racism...you both are beautiful ppl.. sometimes i think other cultures never really see that we all are the SAME.. pls ppl open ur eyes!! we have more in common than we are diff!! the message of this song touches EVERYONE the same!
My favorite songs from the great Tim McGraw are Don’t Take the Girl, When She Wakes Up, One of These Days, Just To See You Smile, Can’t Be Really Gone, I Do But I Don’t, Angry All the Time, Grown Men Don’t Cry, Back When, My Little Girl, Everywhere, You Had To Be There, and If You’re Reading This.
He & Faith Hill Married 26 yrs 3 girls all sing not in the spotlight & took Oprah to their fav country store for a Bologna Sandwich & Orange Soda!!!!
He & Faith Grew Up With Not Much! He In Baton Rouge & Faith In Star Mississippi ! He Went To LSU on A Baseball Sch.Ship & Sang for Tips whenever he could
He is a very kind, so Tim McGraw is a very, very kind gentleman very much respected all over this world. And if you would see how he treats his wife, you would understand why like an angel..
Tim has a ton of great music & has been around a long time now. He has had a scandal free career & is married to country star Faith Hill & have 3 grown daughters. They have some great duets together that you should check out. I love 'I need you' & 'It's your love'. Also you need to hear one of Tim's early hits like 'Don't take the girl' or 'Indian outlaw'. He was a baby. LOL Love watching you guys & seeing the love between you. It makes my day.
When a song touches your soul and heart, then the writer and singer have done their job to leave you with a good memory you will always remember.
It's interesting how Jai brings up Atlanta because Tasha from Adventures of TNT did an emotional reaction to this song saying that a lot of new people are moving into Atlanta and the culture is changing, people aren't as kind to each other anymore.
I'm from Northwest Tennessee, and I don't know a single soul that doesn't say please and thank you. I did go to California in the summer of 99. My husband is from there. We stayed a week in Los Angeles and I had to do the whole "tourist" thing. For the most part, everyone was nice EXCEPT the employees at Disneyland....oh my! That's another story LOL. People really seemed to enjoy our southern accents. We only have accents when we leave our home state. When you come to ours, you have the accent LOL
I'm from Florida. About 5 years ago I reconnected with a cousin after 25 years. She's from Alabama!! Her daughter said "OMG her accent!" My reply was "OMG YOU SOUND LIKE A SOUTHERNER" LOL
You will never meet a sweeter person than a southern person but you will also not meet a meaner person if you piss off a southerner....but we are taught to be respectful to everyone.
Good day Half & Jai,
I have fallen head over heels for the two of you... your energy, message and your love! I do tune in after a hard day! One of my favorite reactions was Chris Stapleton... Tennessee Whiskey. The love that emulates from your energy reminds me of my husband and myself. My prayer for you and your family is continued health and success! I would love to see you react to Styx...Come Sail Away!
Godspeed ❤️
Guys I love you but these country songs hit me right in the heart I'm not a big country guy but they hit me my wife's looking at me like I'm losing my mind because I got tears flowing
We are all destined to leave this world. We need to leave it better than it was when we joined it. Kindness will not hurt, it will not diminish you. Help another soul to see that kindness is free and the world will grow for the better.
This was the favorite song of my first love….my mama! She died from ALS in 2016! This was played in her life celebration! It was amazing!
Tim Mcgraw “The Cowboy In Me”....gonna love it!!! I promise! Cheers 🍻
Jail what a beautiful soul. I really identify with also struggling with anxiety. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world.
Y’all need to watch Tim McGraw “Live like you were dying” 🥰
Both Tim and his wife Faith Hill came from very basic humble roots and have raised their 3 girls with these values and tend to be as down to earth as they can.
Love listening to the two of you. So genuine and real. Seeing how you treat each other, hearing the values you're instilling in your children, I feel and recognize the goodness in you. In these times we all need to heed the words from this song. We're all one and in this life together. We need each other and need to better respect one another. I'm trying to do better to be a better person. Love and respect!!
Hold the door for anyone.Thats humble and kind.
Yea tims the real deal ..hes dad was a big MLB player didnt meet him till grown...hes been with same lady 30years...good guy all round
There's a Country saying, Don't get above your raisin'. Not meaning, don't work for better, but means treat others with kindness and Respect, Be humble, help others. Basically it's this song.
Born and raised in Cali but was brought up with respect for others and treat them the way I want to be treated with respect.
Jai, I understand you, Girl, when it comes to anxiety.❤️ The realization is a big part of beating it. Love you Girl.
All it takes is a smile or a thoughtful gesture that you can pass onto someone else to improve there day , u just might save a life.
here in Louisiana we are proud of Tim McGraw Louisiana produce another great songwriter and singer
I often tell people hatred and forgiveness is like a cancer that eats at you. Forgiveness is the cure.
I absolutely love your reactions! Your boys are very fortunate to have such fantastic parents, raising them right!! Shout out to Tyler, right?! Tim McGraw is a mega star with a mega star wife, a beautiful family, all the money and fame he could ever ask for and yet, he is a very humble man and appreciates what he has earned and been given. This song is perfect for the times we live in. I love how he included all the diverse cultures, backgrounds and situations. THAT is who we are as Americans and it's time we start acting like it an supporting one another!!
I grew up in Texas. Not a big deal but my parents always taught me to be respectful. To this day at 51 I still tip my hat to a woman always say please and thank you.
Most Country Artist are very kind, love God and Country.
I was raised this way and I did the same for my children. Today I look at the world around me and it breaks my heart. How can anyone be expected to hang on to hope when everything around you is going straight to hell at warp speed? peace.
Jai, he is a hometown Louisiana boy and is that kind, does so much for so many people. So is his famous ( Mississippi wife Faith Hill. Best husband wife videos and tours out there.. Southern Hospitality is a real thing for centuries now.
This is Veronica and I love the song too because we all are sharing this world together because of all the different cultures it shows we are all human
He is a great guy! His was raised by his mom aways known who his dad was baseball player from the 70’s Tub or Tug McGraw didn’t want nothing to do with him as a child. But they did get passed all that and had a great relationship with each other before Tims dad passed
I’ve had a rough week and a rougher day today - thanks for this video. You two have a calming effect and you both seem like good souls.....anyway - thank you.
Mom of 4 almost all grown kiddos..I have a song for each of them…this is my song for my oldest son…just graduated college…the most humble and kindest soul I’ve been blessed to know. Thank you for doing this one! Much love! Came for the Tom reactions, subscribed because of this one! #HOG4LIFE
Us folks in the south were raised saying yes ma'am ,yes sir ,no ma'am ,and no sir. We always say hello and how are you doing, and for us southern gentleman if our mamas see us not open or hold the door for a lady we would get our ass tore up and it dont matter how old we are. Our parents have always told us that you are never to old to get you ass tore up.
Come to New Hampshire....The hospitality here is off the charts...
Ya"ll know this dude singing is who played the dad of the family who took in Big Mike in the movie "THE BLIND SIDE"
Timmy Smith loved to play baseball and one day when he was about 10 his mother was at work so he looked in her lockbox and found out his father is one of the best pitchers in MLB baseball. He went to school and told everyone to call him Tim McGraw.
So glad yall did this reaction finally. It's a song that really calms the soul after a long day or week
THANK you for saying such nice things about the South. I moved directly from San Diego to Savannah, and it was the best decision I ever made. The South has issues, but at least they're aware of them and working on healing the wounds.
this song was written by lori mckenna she lives in the town i grew up. stoughton mass.i think she got her third grammy for this song. she also part wrote girl crush.she is very down to earth as you can tell by the lyrics in this song.
Lori McKenna, who wrote this song, is an amazing writer!! Pure genius. You should check her out. "Make Every Word Hurt" is my favorite song of hers.
She also wrote "Girl Crush" performed by Little Big Town... Definitely worth checking out.
Love this song! And very True! We all need to stay humble and kind to each other. One kind word goes a long way! You might just make someone's day! By just saying hello or thank you! LIFE IS SHORT!! and TIME IS THE HOURS THAT COME AS THEY COME JUST TO PASS! Y'ALL SHOULD VISIT ALABAMA!! BECAUSE YOU WILL LEAVE HERE AS FAMILY!! 😊😊❤💜
Tim Is the Son of Tug McGraw !! Great pitcher for the Philadelphia Philies
I listen to new country. All the songs I listen too helps keeps me grounded. Like the song humble and kind I make sure I give thanks where its due. I help as much as I can the best I cam help. Stay grounded... ❤❤❤
I also want to thank you for listening to new country and giving it a chance. You're great people.
You should check out him and his daughter singing in his truck to a Barbara Streisand song. Absolutely beautiful!
Tim McGraw is one of my favorites. Love him and handsome too. Him and his wife Faith hill do songs together too. Beautiful couple. Do Truck Yeah by Tim McGraw it's a fun feel good song.
Check out Tim McGraw's bio! Raised by his single mom & and didn't know who his daddy was. As a bigger boy he found out by finding some hidden paperwork at home of his mom's. His daddy was professional baseball player Tug McGraw. He didn't get to know him until he was grown. Daddy wasn't there for him intentionally till Tim contacted him. They became close and Tim didn't hold anything against his dad but... way too soon Tug his dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and didn't last long. Tim wrote one of his biggest songs about the relationship between he and his dad. It is so beautiful Don't know if you've heard it or see the video since I'm kinda knew here but it would be worth it to react to it. "Live like you were dying!"I love y'all and God bless y'all! From Lake Seminole in South Georgia! 😀❤️
You are two beautiful souls. ❤❤
Very uplifting and inspiring. Life is so short, don't pass up a chance to do good, no matter how small it may seem at the moment. Love the message on your T shirt!
I have anxiety as well. It does keep you from doing things. Thank you for sharing. I am older and look back and have missed out on so much. We certainly need more kindness in this world. It is true Texans are about Yes sir, Yes ma’am, holding the door. Pass it down to our children. This was good needed this reminder.
I would have sworn you guys were from the South. It's sad to say, but your kindness and humility doesn't say California. I owned a business in SoCal in the 70's. I was shocked by how rude, mean and racist people were. I came from Alabama and had never encountered that. Your parents raised you right. I've enjoyed everyone of your videos and pray for your success. 🙏🙏🙏
That’s why Elvis was so popular you always heard him say thank you ma’am hello greeted them humbly thank you no sir yes sir you never heard anything else come out of his mouth except that the way he was brought up and as I told you before it’s brought up in the ghetto but they brought their sign up to be respectful to others and to be kind others no matter what race color religion or whatever your girl Liz
Southern hospitality is a real thing for sure
Today has been 26 years since my mom passed away and I watch you guys every single day and this video really hit home for me today God bless you both. And yes here in Texas we say yes ma'am no ma'am yes sir no sir
Standing ovations to Tyler and you two
You guys should read up on the story behind this song,it is about a sick teacher that always help his students and when he get got really got sick...the teachers's daughter wanted to do something so her father could get recognize and word got to oprah then oprah got in touch with tim mcgraw hence the song
Could you do if your reading this by Tim McGraw
If You're Reading This...anyone with a heart will feel it.
Being a veteran with numerous deployments to the middle East that song always brings tears to my eyes.
@@danielmceathron8156 thank you so much for your service. yes this song hits your soul I refused to listen to it when my husband was deployed when he was active
@@danielmceathron8156 thank you for your service, sir. God bless
WONDERFUL song! 😢
So good. All you'll 👍 👍..trying ..staying ...humble and KIND!! I LOVE ❤ 😍 Your reactions. 😎🤓
Tim McGraw knew the songwriter because his wife had recorded several songs written several years ago and written by the same female songwriter. She originally started writing Humble and Kind as a prayer for her children.
From Alabama here and I love you both! Some of my favorite reactors! You both are beautiful!
Such a well written song! And Tim just takes it home..
You guys definitely have to check out more Tim and Faiths music. Just close your eyes and point, they have so many hits together.
Y’all should def come visit Georgia. It’s where I live and most ppl are so sweet, speak and hold the door for one another. I love it!
Is southerners are some of the best peeps in the world we say hon, sweetie, have a great day and y’all
I’m proud of my southern roots that lives ALL MAN KIND
I always try to hold the door open for a woman especially my wife, she does choose not to wait and opens the other door. I had a female teacher or student-teacher when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade around 1978. I held the door open for her and she congratulated me on being one of the last of the male chauvinist. I didn’t know what that word meant so I just responded with thank you. That was in a town with a population of 500+/-
Jai's smile lights up the room & these videos.
Half, your a lucky man.
I love this song, the live version is special too. Love your reactions.
I live in Yreka, California and we say Thank You and wave at our neighbors and say Have A Good Day
Hey folks, love this song & and your reaction !! Tim McGraw is an exceptional person. His father was Tug McGraw, a very famous pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies (& others) so Tim grew up in the spotlight & fairly well off....yet he's never lost his humbleness & kindness. Have you guys seen Home Free's cover of Everybody Walkin' this Land ? I think y'all love the song & run it to the end to hear Tim Fousts message
Tim didnt know his dad his half life.
This is my song for my kids. They're still little, but they will know what it means. This and Forever Young by Rod Stewart, which was my sing from my mama.
I am from Missouri. My grandfather’s favorite say Help others be successful and you will be successful. I brought a friend from New York to Missouri and asked me if people were gay. I asked why he said that he’s said everyone’s waving to us even the guys😂
Half and Jai, I have been watching so many of your videos since I discovered your channel. I love you guys. You're so real and on point with your commentary. First off, YOU GO MAMA and TYLER!!!! I'm a mom of 3 teenagers and I pray any of mine would do the same as Tyler did to help the man that had fallen...high five to him and to you Jai for raising a young man to be KIND!! Second, you were spot on when you said that you could tell Tim's been through something hard in his life...he makes no secret that his wife Faith Hill saved him from himself...when they met he had trouble with alcohol and she helped him and he speaks on that in several videos/interviews. Their love - and the love that's obvious between the two of you - is #GOALS for me, some day, when the time is right. Sending love, light, and GOOD VIBES to you both...and to TYLER!
One of my favs for sure...
#honestyempathylovepositivity
I thank my mom for teaching me about being respectful and thoughtful love and miss her
You MUST listen to Tim McGraw's song...Live Like You Were Dying!! It is written about his father...baseball legend Tug McGraw! Whom he didn't meet til he was 11 years old. It's an AMAZING song! His father died of cancer!
I took care of my 74 yr old friend and this was her favorite song. I miss her 😢
Driving back from Mississippi to Chicago you know how close you are when the waves become middle fingers
We love you guys!! 💕 prayers for your health and family. Love & Light 🙏
Been to cali one time I’ll never go back I love my southern traditions. We stop for funerals, we say yes ma’am and no ma’am, you get fed when you visit someone and you feed your guest when they visit you. And racism is not near as bad as people believe it to be. It’s more in the northern and western states. Not saying we don’t have it but it’s not nowhere near the way the media puts it out to be.
hes also a good actor, he comes out in the movie Friday night lights and country strong.. im sure there's more but forsure those two
One of my favorites videos. Beautiful people in a beautiful world, easy to forget sometimes
