Hi Chess, Isnt remembering our divinity the same as awakening!? If so, those of us who are unawakened, have no remembrance of our divinity, and that would mean we are doomed to feel not good enough, dissatisfied and unhappy, until we awaken, if we ever do awaken. Perhaps you are talking about believing and trusting in our divinity, even if have no evidence that it exists. I would have to say that divinity is just a concept to me, and I feel like I have never had any connection to it. I definitely agree, that if you feel like you are a combination of a sickly body, an unhappy mind and a collection of insurmountable problems, with no divine connection, purpose or meaning to keep you going, you will feel not good enough and also very depressed!
Yes, to know our divinity is to be awake as our true nature. I am not speaking about “believing“ anything. Meditative self inquiry is one path to the direct experience of one’s divine nature. Direct experience is what moves us from concepts or believing to true knowing. 🙏🏼
