That was fun, and I think it's cool that they're being exposed to this strip! I remember the first day Calvin & Hobbes came out and everyone knew it was something special. At work we'd all fight for the comics pages for this and Far Side. I still read it daily on the web and even have a tattoo of them (dancing and listening to a record player).
In one of the Calvin and Hobbes books, Watterson admitted that whenever he’d write and draw the comics, he’d hardly ever laugh at them. This particular story arc, however, did elicit a chuckle from him when he saw the results of Calvin’s haircut. I believe it was the Calvin and Hobbes 10th Anniversary Book that he (Watterson) wrote this. In my opinion, I think you do a great job voicing the characters. Calvin’s voice is very childlike (as should be), but also has a hint of masculinity (which I think Calvin would strive for). Hobbes’ voice is more mellow and mature, which I would associate with what his voice might have sounded like. There is clues in the strips that suggest Hobbes is older, more mature, and in some ways wiser than Calvin. He (Hobbes) has before helped Calvin see the error of his ways, especially concerning a little girl named Susie. If ever you do more of these, I plan on watching them. Again, great job!

A lot of voices people choose for Calvin and Hobbes can be either hit or miss, but these voices are great. Why does the mom sound like Sally from Peanuts though?

Calvin has the most strictest parents ever and they think too obvious.
I've missed this. The next generation needs another Bill Watterson.
