After my appointment to get my hearing aid for my BAHA, I went to the bathroom. I nearly jumped off the seat when I suddenly heard music. My partner had downloaded the associated app and started streaming stuff to me while I was in the bathroom 😆
Hahaha! Remind me to keep that in mind so I can pull pranks on little kids if I ever get a daycare job by playing their fav songs into the hearing assistance devices.

Honestly that's kinda nice, you never have to deal with headphones, plus I imagine they might cause interference with an implant (at least with bluetooth)? Plus is it allowed/approved for implant users to where headphones? Sorry I'm curious...
@@samanthajade3782 I like to say that a BAHA (bone anchored hearing aid) is the opposite of a cochlear implant. My cochlea is the best functioning part of my ear. My middle ear bones, not so much. So the BAHA skips the middle ear and vibrates the cochlea. And unfortunately the Bluetooth connection doesn't work with everything. And I don't know if it's possible to split audio, where it plays on the TV -and- my BAHA.
Coop Is adorable!!! His enthusiasm is at 1000%…is there a way of having him lower the volume…I’m trying to understand why he is screaming. I suffer from tinnitus and the screaming sends me into an unbearable place…the ringing in my brain, ear is so loud!! I had to lower the volume on my iPhone…but the poor people in the room with him had to tolerate the screeching noise.?! It has been 20 minutes and the ringing continues🕊🌟.
@@rosita3671 Unfortunately, you can't really get a kid that young to stay quiet for long. Most of the time, they don't even realize that they're being loud. They're just SO EXCITED about EVERYTHING and they have to TELL THE WORLD ABOUT IT!! The best you can really do is keep reminding them to use their inside voices, but they're still going to get loud again every few minutes.

I use to learn off my ponto bone anchored hearing aids in college whenever i was overwhelmed by sound or play music while lesson went on it was great since I didnt get caught as well its hard to get caught when you device your using controls your hearing aids and u need it

I just want to make a point that kids at cooper’s age are very impressionable. Songs that have “bad” words in them can make an impact are how your child speaks daily. Just make sure that as you expose cooper to this language you also teach him the correct time to use it. There is no time that a kid his age should be saying something like damn or sh!t but if you allow him to, please teach him when it’s appropriate. Public isn’t an appropriate place for this language and it’s important to convey that to your child. Yes, you can raise your child however but remember you’re raising adults and those adults need to realize the impact of their language! Thank you 😂🥰 cute kid ❤️❤️
