Had this happen to my 02 sequoia, the updated part from Toyota is made out of steel instead of aluminum, well worth the money if you plan on keeping the truck long term.
I know this is off topic, but it looks like your truck may have the same steering column housing as my 98' Toyota sienna. I am planning on fixing my van alone and wanted to know if I could replace my column with your type of truck. If you don't know, it's fine. Thank you for your video by the way💕
Well , we couldn’t get some to compare, but from what I read, the steering wheel is identical for the tundras to Siena. Not sure on the steering column part. Sorry
Yes, it was completely broken so I did apply the weld in between all cracks and around it. I had the truck for 2 years. Sold it and it was still holding strong.

just happen with my tundra. did you remove the wires that where jb welded on top there or removed it all tia
I didn’t remove any wires, I only had to remove the top n bottom plastics.
So did you glue the inside as well as the outside? How long did it hold up would you say? I really just need it to hold up for like one day lol
