I actually do have a paper due on Thursday for which we had six weeks and I've done almost nothing. So it really hit me when the topic of school stress came up here and I do feel like I kind of needed this. So thank you Amy for lessening my stress a bit. EDIT: So, this will be the first edit, since I have finished my paper and handed it in, but it will be a while until I get it back(that will be the second edit). The three days were intense, but I wrote all fifteen pages and am honestly quite proud of what I acomplished(even though it was under CRUSHING time pressure). For those wondering, the paper was about the differences in learning motivation at home and at school and was for a seminar on learning and technology. EDIT 2: I got the paper back and received a C+; a grade with which I am ,considering the amount of time I spent in contrast to all the ones who worked six weeks on these, quite satisfied.

This is very literally me in my daily life: I remember bringing stuffed toys, videogames and drawing tools in high school, reading my own books and writing stories during classes to make the teachers think I was paying attention and taking notes lol (the only difference is I'm goth). The thing is, this character acts exactly the same way I do, sometimes I'm even quirkier than this, and I couldn't stop thinking how cute and fun she is for the whole video. ... So I don't understand. Why did my classmates dislike me so much, to the point of isolating me?

sometimes people like this can be a little pushy shovey and intrusive (this coming from someone who would be exactly like this if not for massive anxiety) and sometimes they’re specifically doing it to try and set themselves apart and put themselves above other girls. because of these, people tend to make that generalization about the whole group.

I understand how you feel and I always asked myself the same (I was always a bullying target) but nowadays I can't help but pitying those who used to make fun of me because...we live in a society that sets us all those rules and stereotypes and in order to fit in, some kids my age at that time used to laugh at me because they wanted to maintain their reputation as "standard" as they could. This is very literally me in my daily life: I remember bringing stuffed toys, videogames and drawing tools in high school, reading my own books and writing stories during classes to make the teachers think I was paying attention and taking notes lol (the only difference is I'm goth). The thing is, this character acts exactly the same way I do, sometimes I'm even quirkier than this, and I couldn't stop thinking how cute and fun she is for the whole video.
... So I don't understand. Why did my classmates dislike me so much, to the point of isolating me?
People are afraid of or intimidated by those who are comfortable being themselves. I know I used to be. Hoping you found peace and people who appreciate your energy.
sometimes people like this can be a little pushy shovey and intrusive (this coming from someone who would be exactly like this if not for massive anxiety) and sometimes they’re specifically doing it to try and set themselves apart and put themselves above other girls. because of these, people tend to make that generalization about the whole group.

I understand how you feel and I always asked myself the same (I was always a bullying target) but nowadays I can't help but pitying those who used to make fun of me because...we live in a society that sets us all those rules and stereotypes and in order to fit in, some kids my age at that time used to laugh at me because they wanted to maintain their reputation as "standard" as they could. But by diminishing me, they did nothing but the entire opposite of what they were trying to do. I only became an even more raging and louder proud..underrated person.

I love this. Especially the hair cutting, I want really short hair but my mom doesn’t want me to have it + she hates bangs so It’s obvious why I declined. I have a classmate with the cutest hair and I want my hair a similar length or slightly shorter, their hair is super cute tho! They get red ribbon and put them into small pigtails, it’s adorable.
