The third one, the Birch wool/talalay latex blend with 100% organic cover is most appealing to me. I don't like synthetic blends of latex, and I don't like covers with partial polyester which makes the pillow hotter than it needs to be. I am hoping to find a 100% natural talalay latex pillow, no wool or synthetics, likely shredded rather than solid, and with a 100% all organic cotton cover. But if there is going to be something mixed with the talalay latex on the inside then wool would be my top choice, for both its comfort and coolness and wicking. I would be tempted to get the 4th choice, queen size, plush, if i wanted a solid rather than shredded talalay latex on the inside. I bought a talalay topper from Plushbeds, which I love, and was going to buy one of their shredded latex pillows until I found they were made with dunlop rather than talalay latex, their reason, the dunlop provides more ability to support, but I prefer the softer, luxurious feeling of the talalay so I am still looking. Dunlop is good, I just like talalay better, generally, though both have their uses. And I like the adjustability of the shredded rather than solid latex pillow.
Katie. I want a soft droopy squishy pillow. I don’t want stiff, at.all. Like the inside of the Staava. But, I can’t actually feel it to know. I like the shredded insides that are soft and slippery like. Idk how to explain what I want :(. Not chunky, for sure not chunky. If you hold the pillow I want it to drape like haha. I would just love to find the perfect pillow and I don’t know if I can find it. There’s these one round decorative pillows from Walmart that I love. I don’t know what the inside is made of.
I've been plagued by poor sleep before. My friend recommended me to buy a latex pillow called LAYTEX. It's made in Thailand, medium firm, soft and comfortable, filled with 100% latex that supports my neck well. It improved my neck pain and this pillow is very cool and comfortable all night. I have been using it for over 2 years. Later I bought another one for my husband. My husband is a side sleeper. He used to snore a lot while sleeping. He snored less after using this pillow. It's really amazing! Really recommend!🥰
that’s my problem. i would like a pillow that i can wash the inner material because after a while it will want to be wash from bodily odor or drooled incidents and you need to wash the entire pillow
Correction - Talalay uses about 70% synthetic and 30% natural (that is IF its true talalay latex). Dunlop latex uses about 95% natural latex and 5% other materials that could be synthetic. There is a big difference as well about the breathability, the dunlop latex breathes much much better than the talalay. Just thought to point that out for those who are willing to buy. Aprico makes natural latex BTW
Everyone that's asking questions and not getting an answer, get a 100% dunlop pillow, it fits everyone, I have one and I've tried it in every position , soft and cool and supportive
I know this video is very old so you might not see this, but i CAN NOT find anywhere that offers Malouf Talalay in HIGH OR MEDIUM (PLUSH) King. NOT LOW Profile. Do you have any knowledge of where i can buy one???
How come nobody reviews the Brentwood Home latex pillows? They seem like high quality pillows, and looking at how they make products, you can tell they're a great company that cares about sustainability. In between buying their latex pillow (and cool yoga pillows!) and the Birch Living one you reviewed.
Like most people I've never spent more than 10- 20 at most on a pillow, until I received a pillow as a gift one year, and I'll be honest it was one of those gifts like " Yeah a pillow how exciting" 😬😬👀 little did I realize I didn't get any pillow but a high quality "Latex Foam" pillow and when I laid on that pillow OMG I was in heaven and I didn't realize the quality of sleep I have been missing out on. I also realized a good latex pillow isn't cheap either so its a slight investment but worth the comfort, like I'll never sleep on anything other than latex foam unless they come up with something just as good for MY needs and every latex foam isn't the same either, mine is very soft and squeeshy I also have one that firmer I tried but I hate that one and gave it to my other half who isn't picky like me and couldn't care less..🤣 I came to the conclusion I like soft pillows with a slight touch of firmness it puts me to sleep vs cotton which makes me wake up with a soar neck and I'm only 29 waking up feeling like my father whos in his 60s 😬 when I sleep on a traditional pillow. I got 25- 30 years before that supposed to be my normal not now..
I have struggled in finding a great pillow for years. I found your review to be very informative and helpful and based on what I heard, I went with the Malouf BUT, I went a step further because when I attempted to buy it, there was ONLY 1 in amazon (I thought that was weird) of the one you profiled. So I went straight to the actual website to order it from there and I found "Gel Infused Talalay Latex Pillow" and Amazon had it for an actual lower price So I went with it. Let's see how it works out. Thanks for your great advise.
I really like talalay latex as its softer than dunlop latex. The Brooklyn Bedding talalay pillow sounds great with a solid slab of ventilated latex. I would get the high loft, perfect for sleeping on my side. I like how responsive and supportive it is
Do you have any reviews on the ELI & ELM ORGANIC COTTON LATEX PILLOW? Not the side sleeper but the one that is one piece of latex material? I can't seem to find much out there about this pillow and it only has one review on their website.
Katie, thank you for your reviews. i'm trying to decide between the Z pillow, purple harmony and the birch. i am 5'2" and 140 lbs. i sleep always on my side. i would prefer a cool pillow but i'm not a "hot" sleeper. which one would you recommend. the price is not a deal breaker for me.
Eli & Elm and The Malouf pillow are my picks, I really love the loft and curve of the Eli & Elm and I love the how you can get what you need from the Malour. I could never afford any of these pillows. but a gal can dream..lol
I like the Eli & Elm best out of the pillows in this video. I’m a side sleeper and I think I’d enjoy this pillow. I’m waiting to try the spine align pillow you reviewed on other videos. Just waiting for it to come back in stock sometime in April. If I don’t like it, I will certainly try the Eli & Elm. Thank you for all this wonderful information.
PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!!! I am a side sleeper and a back sleeper (i am more of a side sleeper than a back sleeper) and I am having a hard time deciding between the Tempurpedic symphony and the cloud breeze dual cooling. I like a medium soft feel and I am willing to pay the extra for the breeze if it is better, which one do you think I should get?
I've tried so many pillows. The one latex pillow I tried, I found to have too much push-back. I like the idea of adjusting the stuffing in the Eli & Elm.
Thanks for the reviews. I have two shredded latex pillows that I received free with a latex mattress that I like, but would like to try a solid latex pillow like the malouf.
I'm a little partial to memory foam, but that Eli and Elm with the curve and the fluffy, adjustable fill would be my first choice , but the Malouf is really looking good as well. Nice choices in the profile and density so you can match your individual comfort level. I also like that it is antimicrobial and antifungal, lightweight and pressure relieving.
What are your thoughts on the Avacado Molded Latex and the Avacado Green pillow (latex)? The latter you can remove the fill if needed. I am a side sleeper and heavier individual. If not one of those, which all natural dunlop latex (no synthetics) would be best? Thank you!!
I'm interested in the Eli & Elm pillow because I'm a side sleeper and it is very unique. However, everything Brooklyn Bedding puts out is great, so I would like to try out their latex pillow as well.
🙋..I love the Eli & Elm pillow for the length and shape first of all. I like the way the fill looks, with the fluffy filer around the lumps to keep the feeling smooth. I also like that we can take out or add how much we need to stay comfortable. The Z by Malouf pillow comes in at a very close second for the length and options for the more dense pillow.
No wonder I have a hard time being satisfied with pillows! I go to sleep on my side and wake up on my back and sometimes my GERD means I need to sleep in an elevated position which throws everything off. I’ve never really considered a latex pillow before though. Who knew there were so many types!? Dang. I also like that you guys include a big person perspective! I use a buckwheat pillow now that I brought back from Japan. I have kept it because it sleeps nice and cool. Do latex pillows sleep cool?
I love the Malouf Talalay latex pillows so much that I now have 4 of them. I also love the Malouf Zoned Dough pillow with the shoulder cutout. I am a side sleeper and that is the best pillow I have found. I used to have to take sleeping pills every night to stay asleep. But now that I have my pillow and sheet game sorted, I no longer need the sleeping pills. All my friends also now have these pillows as they are a perfect gift.

What would you recommend for a full float waterbed ?
Great audio. What mic?

@@SaSonSi8 I done a lot of research. It's best you should dig deep
Everyone that's asking questions and not getting an answer, get a 100% dunlop pillow, it fits everyone, I have one and I've tried it in every position , soft and cool and supportive
love malouf pillow, best pillow that I have come across.

Trying to tell my gf latex pillows are by far the best!!! Thanks for the vid
Birch sounds unique I like what its made of

I love malouf pillow, best pillow that I have come across.
I'm a 6 foot side sleeper. I own a high loft Brooklyn Talalay pillow, and it's perfect for me.
Any reason why the Purple Harmony Pillow didn’t make this list?
Because the Purple pillow is not natural latex, it's a syntetic polymer pillow.
I like the Z pillow.
I have struggled in finding a great pillow for years. Eli & Elm looks like a very interesting pillow for my needs and looks like it provides enough support.
I'm looking the Birch Living and the Talalay Living. Anyone tried both?
I really like talalay latex as its softer than dunlop latex. The Brooklyn Bedding talalay pillow sounds great with a solid slab of ventilated latex. I would get the high loft, perfect for sleeping on my side. I like how responsive and supportive it is

I'm in the same boat. It would be nice to see some reviews on it too
Can you review the Serenity latex pillow?
Katie, thank you for your reviews. i'm trying to decide between the Z pillow, purple harmony and the birch. i am 5'2" and 140 lbs. i sleep always on my side. i would prefer a cool pillow but i'm not a "hot" sleeper. which one would you recommend. the price is not a deal breaker for me.

I want to experiment them ! I just heard about them and I’m looking into them

Appreciate your videos! What is the loft of the Elm & Elm? Is it lower in the middle? Does the filling stay put?
These all look like great options. I'm glad to know they can work for side sleepers.
I've tried so many pillows. The one latex pillow I tried, I found to have too much push-back. I like the idea of adjusting the stuffing in the Eli & Elm.

Great info! Always wonder which pillows was the right kind for me. Would love to try out the Eli & elm since I’m a total side sleeper!
The Brooklyn bedding pillow seems like it would be good for me esp with my neck issues

I use a buckwheat pillow now that I brought back from Japan. I have kept it because it sleeps nice and cool. Do latex pillows sleep cool?
Latex pillows definitely sleep cool! Cooler than memory foam without a doubt. Have you tried a full-size wedge pillow so you're elevated?
Some of those look very big or oddly shaped, do you get special pillow cases for them or just sleep on the bare pillow?
I love pillows!! But it is hard to find a really good one. I haven't tried latex before. I'm very tempted
Love the contour for my side sleeping but the high profile bb pillow is nice too
I love the Malouf Talalay latex pillows so much that I now have 4 of them. I also love the Malouf Zoned Dough pillow with the shoulder cutout. isn't syntehtic latex kind of dishonest? shouldn't they feel ashamed?
Interesting, I've never thought of getting a latex pillow....
this is a really great video review! my only criticism is that you need to slow down just a bit when speaking. c:
