This poem was penned by Dr Kalaignar Karunanithi (5 times Chief Minister of Tamilnadu - Golden Era of Tamilnadu) specifically for The World Classical Tamil Conference 2010 . He specifically chose A R Rahman to compose the music for his poem. If anyone briefly wants to know the richness of Tamil people (culture, literature, political ideology,etc), it can be answered by just reading out the poem’s lines.

For example, English (Anguli), Attack (Thakku), Speech (Pechu), Sponge (Panju), Pee (Pee), Button (Potthal), Navy (Navoy), Mango (Mangai), Betrothal (Petror Otthupothal), catamaran (Kattumaram), Curry leaves (Curry vepilai) etc., Japanese, Chinese, Sumer and many names of the cities of the world bears Tamil words.

I m seeing that hindi movies are made merely entertainment.. But south different... preference given to all aspects... This is my observation coz I m not from India... For example the movies like Settu...Anniyan... Ravanan.. starring vickram..the acting quality between kollywood n bollywood... kollywood much higher... I suggest you watch these movies k comment.. Tq

For example my family loved anniyan starring Vikram and they were thinking it was bollywood cuz they watched it dubbed in hindi and then I was really feeling bad and i explained that it was kollywood ...I love all languages all cultures but i was thinking that every culture and language should be shown as it is.
