Hi teach! I'm so happy that I was able to help you!!! With the consecutive bookings, usually, these are the kinds of students with many questions or those who really want to talk about the material. When a student of mine books consecutive classes, I make sure to ask about the material that they want to talk about during the lesson. This will help you measure the time if the student has other requests. In my case, they usually have a lot of questions about the article then they want to have a free conversation after. I don't really take note of the time because I just follow the student's request! I hope this helps!

They asked me to redo the demo after I failed yesterday. I was shocked as I think it went well, and I followed their instructions exactly! I have two years of experience, a TESOL certification and a five star rating with another company. I feel insulted and told them I will not be doing the demo again and my reason for this. I am baffled about their decision to fail me.
I think you are supposed to do two demos anyways. It's not exactly because you failed...I think they usually make two, I made two and got hired after the second. They have to evaluate well, obviously a single demo lesson is not enough.

I'm a bit anxious on what the other lesson materials are and whether I would be able to do it or not? Is it difficult or are there step by step guides for tutors no matter what the chosen material is?
Hello! As tutors, we can access different lesson materials even when we’re not booked. I usually go and scan these materials beforehand to grasp the overall flow 💕

Kapag nagtatanong si student, ang usually ginagawa ko 1. magbigay ng synonyms ng word na yun 2. gamitin siya sa sentence Pwede kayong magsearch nang mabilisan sa ibang tab niyo, hindi naman nila makikita yun hehe. Hello Teach! Is it required to have an HD camera quality? My laptop doesn't have a good camera quality but it is working well. Also, is it required to have a white plain background? My background is black but i have good lighting.
Hello! I think they’ve been quite lax already with the white bg as long as the bg is organized. Also, if your camera’s quality is laggy, I suggest buying a webcam. You can see the quality of my laptop camera compared to my webcam camera in my video about Language Test. Good luck!

Yes thats what I do when I have consecutive sessions. Just copy paste or note that your lesson note is in the previous one already. Your student won’t mind 💕

Omg I can relate to this teach kasi nakaka kaba talaga siya! When you student asks the meaning of a word, don't really overthink it kasi you just have to give like a simple explanation to it, no need na bonggang explanation with complicated words!!
Tip lang teach, hehe, just think of a synonym nung word na pinakamalapit at pinakabasic😌 Then, use the dictionary sa tool natin☺️ Copy and paste, then add make an example😀 Hope this helps💕 Kaya Yan!
Hello! Once nag open ka ng slots mo, pwedeng ma reserve siya ng student meaning booked yung class. Pag open lang yung nakalagay, meaning hindi pa booked. Kapag closed na, it means na 15 mins before the supposed slot ng class ay walang nagbook na student.
Hi! What I do here is I tell them their mistakes during the 24th minute of the class since we give feedback during this time. Or you can say that you typed down their sentences and you'll include that in the lesson note. I would then indicate in the lesson note the mistakes that the student made and the right way to say it!

Please run away from this company unless you are ready to do anything for many. Some students can be really rude to you and cause you depression no matter how strong or good of a teacher you are. Also the money you get from them is just not worth it. Try to find a better online school with better students and tutor support.
