I’m from Ames. As you think about exploring Iowa, here are some suggestions: Rieman Gardens and Butterfly exhibit at Iowa State, Tulip Time in Pella, go morel mushroom hunting at Red Rock Lake, go to the Ledges Park and ride the train in Boone, the Science Center in Des Moines, do a corn maze at a pumpkin patch in the fall (there are several), do the farmer’s market in Des Moines, go up to West Bend and see the Grotto, go to the Amana Colonies, see the Field of Dreams, go to the Iowa State Fair in August, tour the capital building in Des Moines, go to Okoboji and/or Clear Lake in the summer, and I believe there are carolers in Pella and Des Moines in December. There are also some Carnegie libraries in small towns like Algona. Enjoy the great state of Iowa!

I homeschooled my two grandchildren from kindergarten through eight grade. Their parents are both teachers but the school district where we lived was horrendous! So homeschooling was the answer, it was a fantastic experience for all of us. Glad you are homeschooling your kids. You are a fantastic mom and I enjoy your videos.

I homeschool my 6th grader through an online academy that’s offered by my state as a public school option. There are lots of ways to homeschool, find what works for your family, that’s the most important thing. 😊

Your cash binders are so cute! I'm canadian so we don't have bills lower than $5, so it's difficult to do the challenges that need $1, $2 etc like the 52 week. I'm thinking of creating a 26 week challenge that goes up by $5 increments each week.

Certified teacher homeschooling mama here! I'm getting ready to move to NC and SERIOUSLY considering starting my own homeschool co-op or pay per topic direct teaching. I really REALLY can't physically handle the actual classroom anymore but I miss having my bonus babies 😭😭 but I'm more of the Montessori, child driven, make learning fun and at pace educator and that just can't exist in our current public education system. Plus my son is neurodivergent and a handful. I don't want his creativity and spirit crushed into conformity like mine and his older sisters was (she is almost 17)
Would love to bounce ideas around about stuff!!! My little is 4 and my biggest struggle is getting him out to socialize because ... Honestly ... Most adults bore me LOL

Great savings 💰💰💰💰💰💰, Here watching after packing for my 3 month vacation , I watched your videos when you first started you got me to budget, budgeting is a life saver 🛟 I have paid sooo much debt 💸 I started my own rental business now I have saved and me and my husband are always saving to go to Mexico for 3 months, we’re planning to go 6 months to Mexico and 6 months in the United States. Budgeting and saving is so important to me , thank you 🙏 for teaching me ,there’s ups and downs but we have the money 💴 from saving to get us out of problems.

Yes, I believe it! Since I've been on youtube I moved from the apartment to the rental house, then to a tiny house (to escape the crazy landlord), then to our house here in Iowa. And I've only been on youtube for a couple of years, lol!! I'm excited to settle in this house and make it mine.
