That’s true. Authentic Chinese food is so hard to find abroad. Just one thing that needs to be corrected. What the chef made in the video is actually TRADITIONAL Szechuan food. It’s called “governor food” (官府菜)which stands for dishes that are traditionally served to the nobles. Sort of like fine dining. It’s a different system from the commoner’s food (家常菜). 9:22 thats serious skill to be able to repeatedly cut those in straight lines maintaining the thickness each time
I love the hospitality from the cook. And the food is looking so good, my mouth is watering!!
I love you Trevor I bought the merch on the website.
We watch you in my social studies class everyday with my teacher Mr. J
Wow really!!! That's amazing! I hope you enjoy the merch too!
Hi Trevor, Every video of yours is AMAZING ! I get excited to watch videos of yours. Your chinese is the cutest !
A Michelin star food without the michelin star 👌
As a Chinese, I can tell you Michelin star is only useful for western cuisines, not for Chinese.
@@PT-ve1fl 这话只能外人讲,自己说就有点自吹自擂、目中无人了
joe rock in michelin star is overrated
Michelin? In the eyes of Chinese chefs, it is junk food mixed with expensive ingredients. Meaningless. Chinese chefs are top-notch, and they have been pursuing the sensation of hand-made taste with rich emotions throughout their lives.

I read your name as Nice Broccoli. Thank you
@@BooPsylatrom that's great! With the vowels, I probably could have figured it out. When I was in Yeshiva in the stone age, Hebrew had vowels, the aw sound, and the saf/taf

I believe this is an authentic Chinese restaurant. The chef is making delicate Chinese food with his soul. Thumbs up!
One of best videos you have done...Not eating 10 large bowls of intestines as in a lot of your videos, but tasting what can be done with natural Chinese food. brilliant and such an ambassador for China :)..
Good Sunday Trevor & Ting! Mmm...This is the so far one of the best, modern, beautiful, lovely kitchen & restaurant and food looks amazing and delicious!
That noodle making is no less than martial arts 🤔

Finally a person who agrees a machine can do it as well as a person can but also the machine will not do it the same. and can we talk about how humble the Chef is
Hey man. First, I really want to eat at that restaurant. It's on my list. Second, I'm really impressed by the way you've built your brand and business all about food and travel. You're among the best at that gig. Congratulations.

Wait, but he was outside too... so that means you’re going to eat the street and then the restaurant and then the people inside of it and all the living things in there.. what a big feast can I join in? 😃

OMG.... that was like MICHELIN style Novel Cuisine, Chinese Banquet all rolled into one. Looked very impressive, presentation and mix of flavours and ingredients. YOU are so lucky to be able to experience that!! Now I'll go back to my dolly noodles... :(
Perfect 10 on all dishes! 😊😊😊👍👍👍

I speak english but I swear I didnt understood much when they keep talking about ingredients I love discover with you so mnayyyyyyyyyyyyyy Thank you for that Trevor
Loved this video. This chef takes pride in his creations at the same time he is not arrogant and we can see his passion and love.
Pls talk to cooks more about their food philosophy. Even cooks on the street or at home.
