I do gotta give Eddie credit he did handle the issue with Chris very well with talking about it and also showing that breaking the rules will just give you more punishment.
Chris just wants to be treated normal and I love that. And I love the rebellion stage that he's getting into. It's very normal for kids to do that. Chris knows that he's different and Eddie knows that he's different. But the fact that he does have friends that include him and don't treat him like he's different it's all he really wants from eddie.
I kinda know the feeling I have autism and my parents were treating me like a baby because of it and I hated it all I ever wanted was to be normal but that’s out of my hands and when my Dad treated me like I was the R word that was when tension started to build up between me and Dad
And this is where we need a scene of Eddie ranting about how Chris's personality is changing and Buck being the voice of reason. They compliment each other! Yes I want them to get together but at the same time I think their dynamic works really well as it is currently xxx
The teacher called. He got into trouble for skipping class. He’s independent as you think of. But independency means making good choices. Wrong choices leads you to consequences. Know your conscience
Even Christopher is child, he’s no longer a little kid. It’s hard for him to let him go, since he’s growing up. He made it up to him to let him hang out with his friends by himself after his punishment is over. It will be postponed until a week
Buck would never get between Eddie and Chris or interfere in Eddie's parenting. He might play "good cop" with Chris in this situation (they've even referred to this in Season 4), or later advise Eddie in private to go easier on Chris, but he knows not to overstep his boundaries.

It’s important to treat your disabled child as normal as possible Aja setting boundaries and giving consequences that work for them, not every consequence is right for every child. But being a “yes man” tells me personally that you think very little of me and that I’m incapable of thinking critically and understanding right vs wrong and more serious concepts. And yes some kids/adults truly aren’t but every situation is different. But parents know their kids snd know what they are capable of understanding. Like Christopher here, his communication is different and may make some people think he’s not that bright but just because he struggles to speak “normal” ( I use quotations because normal is relative) Doesn’t mean he’s incapable of actual critical thinking. His actor for example is capable of having a job. Most people would think that possible with his disease. He’s breaking barriers. It’s incredible and I’m so happy he’s showing that you may look and speak differently it doesn’t mean as I often say “you don’t have a brain” it may work differently and take time to communicate but it still works. Those without disabilities just need to learn to adjust their perception and actions. Mistakes happen but just keep trying and learning.
