For a truly immersive experience it is advised you watch the video on a wide screen TV and use an advanced sound system or wear headphones.

Marrakesh is the fourth-largest city in Morocco. It is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and the capital of the Marrakesh-Safi region. The city lies west of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
The city was founded in 1070, as the capital of the Almoravid dynasty. The Almoravids established the first major structures in the city, such as Jemaa El-Fna Square. The red walls of the city, and various buildings constructed in red sandstone have given the city the nickname of the "Red City". Marrakesh grew rapidly and established itself as a cultural, religious, and trading center for the Maghreb. Marrakesh saw its second golden age in the 16th century serving as the capital of the Saadian dynasty, who embellished the city with sumptuous palaces such as the El Badi Palace (1578) and restored many ruined monuments.
In 1912 the French Protectorate was established, that lasted until the independence of Morocco and the reestablishment of the monarchy in 1956. Since the independence of Morocco, Marrakesh has thrived as a tourist destination. In the 1960s and early 1970s, the city became a trendy "hippie mecca". In 1985, the old town area of Marrakesh was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, raising international awareness of the cultural heritage of the city. In the 21st century, property and real estate development in the city has boomed, with a dramatic increase in new hotels and shopping centers.

how do you do for recording a video from above, is it because you are very very tall or because you carry your camera with a tool

I carry it on a pole, and hold it at about 190-200cm. For these videos that are taken at 15mm (ultra wide) it wouldn't work any other way. I'm also quite tall.
