for us Japanese, this is nothing new. Buddhism is from India.
The origin of Japanese traditional culture is from Buddhism (India) and Shintonism.

We have no reason to hate Indian people.
UA-cam is full of lies and propaganda. Get information literacy. Many sneaky racists are using fake nationalities and spreading anti-Japan or anti-Indian propaganda every day every day every day.....on UA-cam. And every nations has more or less prejudice and racism to other people or nations.

Its very important to be proud of his country but person who can point his country’s bad aspects out is smart too. As long as there are many persons like him, India will have a blight future.

As Japanese, I respect profoundly India as a great civilization, which gave many important elements to our culture. Historically India and Japan have deep interaction and deity is one of the influential things that learned from India. When studying Indian religion, I'm always overwhelmed by its huge scale of perspective to the universe...

Thank you for heart-warming words. Such problems are also happening in Japan. Some people don't take notice on our religions, which inherited beautiful philosophy from Indian great civilization. Even Shintoism, which is our indigenous religion, have interaction with it.
However, simultaneously, another groups have been launched activity to restore the situation, recently I can see positive phenomenon inside this sphere. Also I heard that India started focusing on the religious issue. I desire that these heritages will be inherited for future.

India didn't forget its cultural roots. It was systematically destroyed in a series of foreign invasions that continued for more than a thousand years and still continues. But there's no point in complaining since Sanatana Dharma teaches us that the world is one big family. Sooner or later, all cultures would come together to form the ultimate religion 'humanity'

definitely becaz.. HINDU... it is not a religion to claim something or worship just becaz some people made up it as religion(a belief system- hindu'ism').. hindu word is made up afterwards but actually came from 'sindhu' means between hills and ocean. its geographical identity. moreover it is slways about MUKTI - liberation beyond karma to realization or enlightenment of form and formless, human to universe and consciousness.... so that is how "budha(means no-mind), krishna, shiva(means that which is not), jesus(know thy self), sai, kuran, ram, etc emerged who are actually enlightened humans and others like da vinci, nikola tesla, ramanujan, etc, are oriented dimensionally.. one can see different type of videos on Sadhguru jaggi vasudev- isha founder in tamilnadu, mystic, enlightened human and non-religious person..
.... here truth is authority not viceverse... 'creation is SOUND, creator is STILLNESS'. hence meditation (means no act). it is always to balance feminine masculine, yin yan, heaven hell, good bad, up down, equal receptivity and action to shusmna one or neutral point... India was never a worshiping country but free to question one's existence on this earth and to stick on actual self experiences with truth rather fantasies, blind beliefs and thoughts or emotions of just 5 senses. BHARAT (means sounds-sensations samskrit-word) everything is connected animals, goats cows, birds, trees so one cannot kill just like that reason, they get anxious scared just before death and when a person eats that dead food will get influenced by its behaviours making person more aggressive, violent, fear. thats why americans, muslims( who are too religious), some hindus(who think themselves as religious) and others throughout the world are very violent and hyperactive, and some cannot control self thought and emotion also... while sea food atleast ok reason it is a bit farther from land.. just an additional information thanku :)

@@ayanchakraborty3559 Save your civilization from Islam. We Hindus-Sikhs in India stopped march of Islam on Bharat. We steadily lost territory. Islam marched on Pagan Egyptian civilization & Egypt was 100% Islamised. Then Islam marched on Zoroastrian Iran, Iran 100% Islamised. then, Buddhist Afganisthan fell, then western India - now Pakistan is 98% Islamised. INDIA 15% Islamised & rising.
That's why Buddism & Indian religious ideologies have survived only to east of India. Clash of civilization is still on. Believe me. Within 70 years Pakistan Islamised from 80% to 98%. Similarly Bangladesh Islamised from 80% to 93%.

I am from the Assam, India (situated to the north-east of India), and I was in Japan last year for couple of weeks for a geological field work. It was the first time I was in Japan, and the floras including people, the atmosphere, all the shrines, culture etc. gave me some sort of a feeling that I am at home. The rural places have striking resemblance with the villages of Assam as well. I didn't have so much information about the similarity in deity worship of India and Japan. Later only after doing self research about the ancient history of Japan, I was overwhelmed by it. I have read about a sunken ancient cities in one of the Japanese islands. Wonder what more things are still there to be explored.

Hinduism is the only religion (In fact culture)
which is not book-based religion, books come into existence by 5000 years ago
    through meditation (vedas,
    etc).
Hindus main aim is enlightenment, Liberation, freedom from birth and death. God
is secondary to them, In the Gita, God guides him (Arjuna) to enlightenment and
righteousness (Dharma) not to stick to him. Hindus are seekers, not believers (
like other religions). Hindus follow karma yoga (good actions). Meditation,
Yoga (union with the divine), self-knowledge (who am I), penance, watching breath
are primary to them and book/s are secondary to them. Other religions concept
is one god exists but Hindus concept is the only god exists in everything and
everywhere nothing else. Hindus say body and mind do not belong to you one day
you have to leave them. Only your real self is yours find out that you ll be enlightened. Hindus say all living
beings are divine. They say both waking state and sleep state are an illusion(Maya).
Actual Hinduism is sanatana dharma means an Eternal Religion

      Hinduism is originated from Buddhism
Even in Vedas you won't find the world Hindu
Sanskrit also originated from Paali language of Tathagat Buddha
      Around 3rd BC
King Ashoka had constructed 84000 Buddha Stupa in India Pakistan and Afghan Combodia SriLanka Nepal and other Asian countries
In India Some enemies of the King converted all these beautiful Buddha Stupa into Imaginary Temples Except MahaBodhi Vihara BodhGaya Bihar India
Sanatana Sangh Sadhu Bhagwan Namami all these words are originally from Paali language which are used by Hindus for Hinduism
Hindu learnt Meditation Yoga from Bhagwan Buddha only
Yoga used to teach by Buddhist Monks in Nalanda University Bihar
But enemies destroyed the university 😒
There were 10 main kings who followed Buddhism
At the time of Tathagat Buddha there were only 2 major religions that are Jainism and Buddhism
At that time Brahmins used to do Hawan Yagna at the Kings palaces and some rich businessmen's places

The connection between ancient Indo Aryan practices and Japan is so ancient, it is interesting how this old practices survived more in their original form than in India, this was not only connection with India, also with Sogdians, Tocharians, Iranians. And Bodhidarma as i know was from Central Asia.

My father was indian and I wish Japan and India would work together more closely. Japan has things to teach to India and India to Japan also. Japan is hungry for true spiritual growth, India is hungry to get its role back in the global stage. Japan can help India getting its place back and India can help Japan with well-being or spirituality. They are complementary to each other, almost like japanese and indian races were created as ying and yang. But in todays world materialism beats spiritualism, so it wont happen.
Because spiritual / well-being things, will always be traded with lower value than their real value is. You also wouldnt pay someone 3000€ who tells you to not get a second car. He would deserve it, because he safed you even more money, but thats not the point. The point is that everyone thinks 3000€ is of higher value than the advice he got. When in reality its clearly the advice being worth more money. Thats just showing clearly that we live in a materialistic world in which material things are valued higher than their true value to a human and that spiritual things are valued lower than their true value in most of todays societies.

There is Actually.... need to understand the greatness of Indian ancient culture. We do worship to deities but not pray to God. These are different words. worshiping deities means finding the qualities of our deities in our self, 'Sanatan Dharm' is not a religion, Dharma means our duties not religion, Ancient Indian Culture believes in "KARMA" not in Pray, We do Puja, but Puja doesn't mean Pray, Puja means adoration....

There is no country on this earth that is not touched by Indian cultural influences, from food to spiritual beliefs!
When will modern Indians will realize that the have untapped soft power to the ills of our modern societies???
Today we are experiencing that economically powerful nations do not bring peace ,prosperity and happiness but more disparity and destruction to this planet! The scientific advancement in technology, medicine and many other fields have improvement to human society. Unfortunately all these achievements do not bring any solution to the problems that cause sufferings because we do not understand the humand mind . Humans have created weapons of mass destruction that can annihilate the whole world , yet know one has came up to tame our destructive minds….

Japan and India have very rich cultures and their own traditions. This video is very informative and wonderful in demonstrating the connection between ancient India and today's Japan but it seems to be an attempt to give the whole credit of Japan's spirituality, religion and cultural progress to India.
Although some deities were from India, they have been nipponized and now they are richer than India for they have protected and continue to celebrate them, unlike Indians who have forgotten their own rich culture and ethics by Brahman boot licking and now trying to restore the impure version only for political purposes. Japan deserves the credit and does not owe Indian anything.
