Hi I am F&O trader, i have one suggestion on GTT order. Bcoz, now GTT order value is on percentage like 5%,10% , the major issue is i need to calculate every value and then i need to convert it into percentage. Sometimes I put very tight stoploss on F and O segment. That time I selected 5% it's automatically calculated for total premium i bought. The drawback with this if i put 10% the total premium i bought 10lot like 15000rs , stoploss is around 1500rs. For example, i put stoploss in Bank nifty like 60points. If i converted that value by using delta value of 0.45,my stoploss around 25-30Rs per qty. Per lot 15*28=420Rs. If i buy 10 lot i need to convert this value into percentage. It tooks a lot time to entery trade. In most of time i calculate this, in that time my entry level triggered and market goes boom💥. Unfortunately I am calculated for my entry and stoploss and target value on percentage. It's more time time consuming process.
If you add GTT stoploss like
Trigger price and stoploss price
Target trigger price and execution price manually it's very useful for us.
Well I Know we can adjust this value on unexecuted orders. But it's took sometime to adjust values. In Options trading premium change on every seconds. Within 5mins it's goes 100points up or down, in that time my stoploss hit. And one more minor drawback in GTT order is triggered price and stoploss price is same. So sometimes my stoploss price is triggered,but the Market fall or rise around more that 100points in a minute. In that time stoploss is not executed. It's on pending order menu. My total premium invested in that trade is totally washout. Because trigger price and target price is same. I need to readjust this. If i forgot then, i seen most of time executed. Few time like market has heavy volatility stoploss not executed.
From this i suggest plese give two option like
1) GTT (SL and TARGET In percentage)
2) Add trigger price and executed price tab below that.
I thought upstox broker have that option in GTT tab.I don't use that. Because from starting I am kite user. If you add like that, Its very helpful for option scalpers. In that time we don't enough time to calculate every value on percentage.

You need to auto slice the lots of it exceeds the freeze quantities. It's a basic feature which is lacking

Sir please don't charge AMC. We want to have zerodha account for life for our investment journey but due to AMC we have to move to other platform.

Allow iceberg order with market buysell. Limit let it be. And in iceberg order add automatically calculated LEGS(NO OF LEGS according to quantity), increase no of legs to 100 from 10.simply Introduce auto slice order with auto calculated legs upto 100 for large quantity like 50k 100k 150k. Tradingview chart, trade from chart ,mrkt buy/sell on chart(both for equity n fno).
GTT Target and SL order should have Script value option rather than % which is difficult to calculate

Many are unaware of intraday toogle button...in my case it was default on... people who wants to go long term...it becomes difficult....
Exactly why there's no long term option?? Very confusing and inconvenient.

Please bring the older version back. This update is so confusing and unnecessary. It's not at all simplified. Its creating unnecessary issues with stoploss and trading
Can you add same features to GTT orders? these orders are only valid for single day. So that means my order is excuted on same day then I have to repeat same order to next day.
Zerodha should introduce chart order
2- both stop loss and target price should in one order
In GTT order % is ok but please add amount per share options. it'll be users friendly for every users.

Currently, we can place sl on instrument price(with triggers), please add SL on p&L
this means , When instruments reaches profit amount to rs.xxxx/- sell order should be placed,
please come up with option chains in fno with expiries to place orders dorectly from option chain
not to be dependent on sensible for that

Still no stoploss order at the time of order placement. Zerodha still lives in the dinosaur age.
Hi Dipak, you can place Stoploss and Target orders using order placement using GTT orders. We've explained this in the video too.
@@zerodhaonline The GTT order uses percentage. At the fast pace of the market calculating percentage loses the chances of entry. Instead of giving a percentage the price should be included there.

SL Order/Target Order ko Percentage me Rakha he Amount me SL/Target lagane ke liye Option Q Nahi Rakha.
Things which are necessary like
1) trade from chart(Tview)
2) preBuilt watchlist sectoral wise
3) import watchlist via CSV file
4) makes chart more responsive nd reduce lag
But leave that above nd lets confuse the traders with order placement 👍

Please do something for the scalpers in kite website because while ordering a big window opens on the left side which consumes the whole space of the website and its difficult to see the charts...it should be like the dhan broker 🤷

Y'all should work on a simplified way to enter stop buy/ stop sell order
ex if one wants to buy at 100.05 one has to enter trigger & limit order the enter quantity it's a long process specially if one is trading at 1min chart you merely get that much time price just shoots away from the entry point there must be a way to simply enter the price at which one wants to buy + qty
While placing order for options add “exit when” index price is “equal to”.
Example : I place an order in call/put option in nifty, at the same time I should have an exit when index price is given.

Earlier if we wanted to enter in any stock above the cmp..we placed our buy price using Sl option..but now how we can do the same? (Enter a stock above cmp)
This should also limit the maximum quantity of stocks calculated automatically as per the balance available in wallet, as user needs to calculate preorder the max quantity of stocks a user can place , if miscalculated by even a single paisa the order gets rejected. I hope this issue will be taken consideration for the benefit of user friendly experience in kite.

You can open a menu like buy or sell on current price for option. So that intraday working becomes faster
Instead to swipe for placment of order, a tab should be given sothat simply click a order placed faster. Sometime it will take a little bit time to placing order.
New one is better as i can put in the amount and buy stocks.. one request please give option to invest percentage amount of total capital in one stock. Will be helpful and much quicker to execute.

Trailing Stop Loss Should be Included for all orders
Make a video on how to SELL using gtt WITHOUT stoploss! It's getting very confusing.
Should introduce scalping mode...like automatically devide quantity into leg.... example.. I want to buy 3000 quantity banknifty then automatically its devide into 3legs ... if possible introduce one feature like i can generate buy order when spot price is something... Then it will be very effective for options trader

Old order window is good. The new order window is confusing for delivery orders.
I like the new order window (mobile version). Is it possible to display the amount i have in my zerodha account in the order window? Sometimes i place multiple orders and every time I go and check my balance and then placing my next order. It may not mandatory but good to have. Thanks.

I don't like new order window...it is very confusing ..I was going to place intraday order by mistake in place of delivery because itraday button was already enabled. OLD order window was simple and easy to understand. It not a good update.

New orderwindow is very worst when typing quantity it goes below order type again we need to scroll it down for typing quantity same thing happens with price typing so it takes lot of time for sending order.old order method was very good there was no need of scrolling to enter quantity and price I request pl try to changes in this order window
That's rightly said , very difficult to place order ,while trying to type the orders, window is behind the keypad ,where we need to again scroll up and place .
Also when we try to make buy orders it is automatically taking stoploss orders .. very disturbing ..

Please make desktop app user friendly,to place order we have to use mouse lot of time, instead this , keyboard is better and quick one,like in ODINE software,at kite it will take lot of time to place an order.
It is very difficult for using new ui. The older one is more easier to use.
How to buy long term share
Zerodha should allow Market order in F&O segment for NSE-FO stocks. Please look into it.
Please include gtt order 3 in 1 just like upstox. Currently we have to place buy limit then again oco sell for sl and tgt. Make it one plz. Once the buy limit trigger then oco will be activated in a single order. And plz make the ui smaller there are so many space irrelevant

which option to select for buying stocks for longterm or delivery ? why have you made the tool confusing. I dont think this kind of abstraction is really required.
Hi Shashi, to buy stocks for delivery, you just have to disable "Intraday" toggle. Also, your last selection is remembered in the order window so you don't have to switch each time.

Hi @zerodha i feel there is scope for improvement in coin and kite app to bifurcate or show units/quantities that are long term qualified and short term. Since recently i had to manually calculate the units in coin app to book the profits for the units that crossed year or so. ( IDK if this already exists or not ) . Since the competitors already has this feature handy in the app .pls make sure u add it immediately

It's difficult to punch the large or big quantity in zerodha many people moving to other broker because zerodha don't have options to punch big quantity and if you want to punch big quantity you want to create basket and add strike price and clone for 20 times in that time the spike will gone , you can't buy if buy its waste because you buyer at spiked price. Please improve this feature its helps a lot to many traders.

When we select the price in intraday from the bid ask we have to first select the price,then we have to go back and then an order is placed which results into total disaster .. in old window, once we selected the price from bid ask spreads .. it automatically goes back to the original window and order gets executed most likely as it consumes less time than this new window.. seriously not happy with this new update

Why you make fonts so thin 🤔
I am facing acute problem on my zerodha app. In gtt order , whenever premium hits stop loss it shows order triggered. But the order doesn't close itself rather it remains in open order after hitting stop loss... If the prices come back then it closes otherwise it remains in open order ... I have made many losses due to this problem... Suggest me
Hi Ashokkumar, once the GTT order is triggered, a limit order is placed, which will execute at the price you've specified or a better price. If the price goes beyond the limit price specified, the order will remain pending. For better execution, you can keep some difference between the trigger and limit price. So once the GTT is triggered, the limit order will execute at the best available price in the market. We've explained this here: support.zerodha.com/category/trading-and-markets/gtt/articles/gtt-market-orders

Honesty speaking,, the new update is not useful at all ,, very Difficult and confusing.. But i know zerodha will not listen to us ... No problem we will change our Broker
