- At the 2021 Michelin NCM Bash, Jack and Dor DeLong donated their third Corvette to the National Corvette Museum. This car has a connection to Dale Earnhardt and has a very touching back story. With it being the 20th anniversary of Dale Earnhardt’s passing in February, the timing of this donation was very fitting. At the ceremony, Director of Collections/Curator, Derek Moore shares that “it is a very significant moment in time to remember Dale and what Jack and Dor have done to this car to honor Dale’s memory.”
What an awesome special donation Jack & Dor!
I can’t wait to visit the NCM to see this 1998 Corvette!
Thank you 👍🏻👏🏼🏁
1998 was the year that Dale Sr won his first and only D 500. 20 years of trying 20 years of heart break are finally over. I was there when he won it. It was a thrill to be there.
Very nice, beautiful machine and a great story. I hope to make it to the NCM someday. I own a 1990 ZR-1, it's a great car.
An amazing story.
Very cool story!! I absolutely love Nassau Blue, and that’s one gorgeous Vette with the contrasting under hood mural he had done!
Great story behind it as well!!
Very proud of my C5 as well, I get compliments on it all the time! Great looking cars!!
Beautiful machine.. Thanks for your service Jack!
