So how long will we continue to sell our issues in parliament to the world for free? We take pride in speaking a foreign language and disregard the language that God has given us.

It means all the other MPs should start speaking in their own local languages! Not just one language to become the norm.
Kuffour tried to force twi language on others in the country.
      Tribalistic!

This means the other MPs should also start speaking in their own local languages.
Kuffour has tried this before to force one language on other Ghanaians who dont speak twi. Just to be careful not to start imposing one particular local language on others!

See the pride an MP has in speaking the queens language but have to object to speaking our own native language. We need to tolerate and find pride in our own dialects whether twi, ga, ewe, hausa and the rest, allowing them to be expressed freely on the floor of parliament. shame on you. Our new slave masters are expressing their ignorance and its very pathetic.

How’s it that some people hate to hear or speak our local language. This MP is priding himself on how much authority he has on the QUEENS language but he doesn’t want the MP to speak a Ghanaian language?? What a shame

Hon. is right about the pronunciation.
But the house should look closely at that particular Standing Order. The MPs themselves are the best technologists to use the technology of the mind.
    Why always English, anyway?

Listen to him, there is nothing wrong, we can make a change but some people are afraid of change.
You are a British trained But you are still a Ghanaian.
Like it or not, the Twi language is the commonest language spoken and understood by most of the citizens of the country.

Tribalistic you! Kuffour tried to force one language on all Ghanaians. Remember, not all Ghanaians are twi speaking people!

Say tourism site, street lights, waterfall, etc. in Twi and not in English.

What is wrong with you people. Russia speaks their language in parliament. When Putin meet world leaders he speaks his language. Kwasiafou speaks your language for your people to understand. Ofuie Mr. Britannica phonetic expert.

President Putins speaks Russian because that is the country's official language. Ghana is different. Ghana has many local languages, and they are all important. No one language in Ghana is better than the other.
It means all the other MPs can start speaking their own local languages in Parliament.
Kuffour tried it once to impose one local language on other people in Ghana!
