A 3", 6", 10" and maybe a 15" would be great. I like these over a bessy clamp because you cam have as wide of a footprint as you want instead of messing up a $50+ cast clamp

    Is there a reason why you dont run water in your plasma table? At my last job we were running a table of the same size if not a bit bigger. And i was taught that running water up to about 1/4 inch from the plate reduced the amount of slag buildup up the back of the cut.

    • @ThatPhilBurgGuy
      @ThatPhilBurgGuy Рік тому +1

      Genuinely curious. That was my first time running anything like that. And its in a very old school type shop, so not much was explained except the bare minimum of what i needed to know. Did it for like 8mo before i switched to being a fabricator.

    • @TheFabricatorSeries
      @TheFabricatorSeries  Рік тому +9

      There's 2 types of tables - water and downdraft. Mine is a downdraft. Some argue over which one is better, but they both do the same thing. I prefer downdraft since it doesn't waste water in the summer due to evaporation, there's less maintenance, and it doesn't freeze in the winter.
