Great job as always Scott, I wonder if you can share a bit of the formulas behind the whole table/doc, i am looking to build a quiz for my clients and let them to rate their maturity (based the score they quiz will generate for them)....I really like they way your doc looks.
I always look forward to your videos! I was super excited to see this one. It seemed like you had a lot more to say that was left on the editing floor. Any chance you could post the full video? Or better yet make 5 separate videos where you go indepth in each of the areas you had to cut out:
- The functionality of the published doc and how you used formulas to make navigation and the UI easy and pretty (it really is)
- The hidden query parameters to send data from one Coda doc to another and how that compares to using the webhooks
- The workflow at minute 9:00 and how you manage the capture doc with all those columns. You fast forwarded through that and it seemed like a rich area to teach.
- Setting up quickchart to work with Coda. I can almost guarantee that question will come up!
- Working with Documint to make the PDF. You did nicely here. Maybe a longer video walking us through how to set things up on either end?
You're great job and after reading your story on X, I am eve more impressed by your journey.
Thanks again for this! You're the best.
Well done ! This is the kind Coda tricks I want to learn. Keep'em coming please :)
So cool! Thanks for sharing this. I am blown away by how powerful Coda is.
Dude you are awesome. I was immensely overwhelmed with how customizable everything is, but your videos quelled it.
Glad I could help!
Love this stuff Scott! You've been the #1 resource I've gone to while learning Coda. Thanks for sharing so much and also for your rad Coda packs.
One small critique... Can we get a background track that's a little less repetitive in these videos? 😅
Phenomenal job on this doc. I learned a ton from your videos. Thank you.👏😃
Thank you! Always hoping to help more people learn!
Nice work Scott! Curious if you have a solution for building out a PDF that will list a full array (hope I’m saying that correctly), as in a multi-page price quote that pulls in multiple rows and each column with an image for each… basically repeats based off the total rows. Take it easy me step further, then splits them up into multiple pages if the list is 5 to 10 pages long?
OH yeah! Done it multiple times. In fact, I've been working on a client project all day that takes a multiple number (variable) amount of rows and generates a itemized quote
Very possible! DM me or email me at scott@simpladocs.com if you wanna chat through it!
Great video! Do you think there would be a way to create a pdf but with Google Docs? Love your videos!
Very possible! But not with an existing pack right now - you'd need to write a google apps script for it, and then ping/send data to your script via a Coda button and the google apps script
@@thecodaguy sounds interesting but also complicated😆
Coda use to be good until they put caps on AI
