I’m a PlayStation User and honestly I want both Xbox and PlayStation to stay as the titans of console cause if one goes the other will get very complacent it’s good to have competition
I've been a huge Xbox fan since the original, but the best thing about them now is that they got so bad I ended up building a PC in 2019 and that has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
The fuck you talking about insomniac, they always worked with PlayStation, but own their IPs. They did the same for sunset overdrive. Marvel games ended their license with activision and offered Xbox who said they don’t have time as they’re busy with their own IPs, they went to PlayStation next and asked them and PlayStation called insomniac, who first rejected, they accepted the second time and it was their biggest hit. And tango can’t own their ip like insomniac cause they’re under the Bethesda umbrella, and Xbox bought Bethesda as a publisher, not the individual Bethesda gameworks studio
Sony registered the IP for Sunset Overdrive giving them ownership of it so Microsoft couldn't get the IP from Insomniac to have them or another developer make a sequel

Yeah honestly man the only thing really keeping me with xbox at the moment is a few friends who I still enjoy playing with that don't have a pc yet and gamepass, if It wasn't for Gamepass Xbox would be in the toilet right now. That being said I've already got one foot out the door and looking into getting a proper pc rig.
Recently moved on from Xbox and got a PS5 after spending the entire Xbox one generation and early series x generation being promised games are coming only to not get most of them and the games that did make it out the door being broken dumpster fires

Cuz u just started gaming, don't get me wrong 360 was easily microsoft's best console but lets us not forget it's glaring flaws. like after about 3 yrs, it had a serious lack of exclusives since kinect killed it, red ring of death (remember that eh lol), bad hardware, lack of first party and had a lackluster 2nd half during the 7th gen. still a great console but it reminded me of the dreamcast. it only did good for 2 to 3 yrs before they both went downhill (for different reasons obviously). i've been gaming since nes and these are the best consoles of all time 👇. 11. Ps5 (will be even lower once it reaches it's full life span) 10. Dreamcast & 360 (tie) 9. Nes 8. Ps3 7. N64 6. Switch 5. Genesis 4. Ps2 3. Ps4 2. Snes (arguably the best but i prefer 1 more) 1. xbox has had no games since 2013. I jumped ship to PC in 2019, I've lost all interest in consoles, the only things in the console-sphere I remotely care about are GTA 6 and a new mario kart. 2024, and I'm still playing minecraft and skyrim and R6. 🤣

It's even more unsustainable when you factor in Bethesda games that take 7-8 years to make, and ignoring Sony/Nintendo, an installbase of what? 200 million users and putting them on a subscrption service... My personal view is that MS should become a publisher after all the acquisitions, and I'm saying that as a MS shareholder.

There were leaks of remake runninh on the switch 2 hardware a while ago saying the handheld had graphics comparable to a ps4.
