How does the clock start and stop? Is it by a human or electronically?
The electronic timer is triggered by the mouse robot at the borders of the start cell and goal area. The timer uses infrared sensors to detect the mouse.

How many sensors did he use ?
Most participants use 4 sensors, two forward sensors for front walls and the other two diagonal sensors for sidewalls and diagonal running.
