@@jeffskingley6042 might be close to the limits of the built in relay. But you can always have this lil guy trigger a 30 amp Bosch relay. Then you wouldn't have to worry about burning the lil fella up.

I tried to use this same relay and it would randomly turrn on. No way would I use it as a garage door opening.
That is strange. I've never had an issue with that. I live in a major city too.
Can I hook a 12v dc motor up to this?
Depending on how big the motor is. I believe this relay can handle up to 10 amps.
