In 1999, Apostle Richard D. Henton, pastor of Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church, held a program, honoring MAAAAAANY of Chicago's Gospel pioneers, who were known locally, as well as world-wide. Many of them, such as the late Eugene Smith, rendered selections. Here, he sings one of the most popular Gospel sings, which happens to be his composition, "I Know The Lord Will Mae A Way."

Yessir, he wrote the song, but I'm not sure if he ever recorded it himself. When the Roberta Martin Singers recorded the song, I believe it was Myrtle Scott who led it.
