GOAT sent me some defected shoes / fake Lebron 8 “South Beach”. Major flaw on the tongue and other things that don’t match up with my other Lebron 8s. The flaw on the tongue is not enough pink threading which shows the black underneath. Never again will I shop with GOAT.

I had an episode with GOAT 2 years ago
They sold me Yeezy Waverunners with no reflective Adidas stripes beneath the mesh
After 3 weeks of trying to reach out to them (via message because they have no phone number) they finally responded and said they cant send a refund because the pair is authentic
I told them that even if they were authentic they should be sold as DEFECTIVE or B-GRADE for a lower price because they are MISSING components that good pairs are supposed to have
I told them that I paid full resell for a GOOD pair not for a DEFECTIVE pair
After that I had to open a dispute with Paypal and got my money and kept the pair they sent
The lesson I learnt was this: if theres any issue SEND THEM BACK. NEVER CONTACT GOAT DIRECTLY BECAUSE THEY WILL ONLY RESPOND ONCE THE YOUR 3-DAY RETURN POLICY IS OVER

The paper i understand cuz one shoe comes totally wrapped and all early pairs came from the euro release.blame the seller .the shoes are authentic and not worn they will pass even with the factory flaws.goat will only stop sale if they worn or fake
I ordered 3 pairs one from goat,Nike and ebay and all 3 my paper was torn. My pair from goat has that Chinese sticker on the bottom but not that just do it label on top of it.
I have a feeling that's a fake pair. How that got by GOAT, who knows. I'm just glad I wear size 14 because I can usually buy in peace because very few rep makers get up that high in size.

Bro, I got a pair from stock X with really bad creases. I thought I just had bad luck. They also had a sticker covering the other sticker on the box just like you demonstrated in your video. In addition to a minor scuff on the toe box.

GOAT been using DHL for a while now, last 5 pickups came from them. No issues with those. But we all know DHL known for having fake shoes.

Damn man that’s way to many flaws. I know that there’s flaws on some shoes even straight from the factory. For example the Carmines that released this year had hella sole bleed. But damn that’s a lot wrong. That looks like a B Grade or one that got rejected. Knock on wood I’ve had good luck with stock x and have ordered and sold 20+ shoes with them. I’ve ordered twice from goat no problems but definitely going to think twice from now on plus for my shoe size they are usually the most expensive. Thanks for the video we need to hold these companies accountable when we can. They would let it stand if we messed with their $ we shouldn’t let it stand when they mess with ours. Hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction.

@@JJAllDay84 y'all are sleeping on ebay. For one, you get to see the actual shoe before you buy it, so you can spot flaws before you even purchase. Second, there's no fees. You pay the price plus sales tax. I don't know why anyone still shops on goat or stockx now that ebay authenticates through sneakercon

My HWC 8s from stockx is also messed up, a lot of stains on the midsole and laces, creases on the medial side of the toebox. Hopefully my south beach 8s will be a good pair

but this why i dont race for an early cop myself(july 7th here in aus) official drops the 10th im going to wait and order on the 22nd as the south beaches are a "hype" pair and most likely mass produced more than other lebrons the gym reds(empire jade) and hwc were i think more limited so quality would be better i judging by how the game is now so,theres my 5cents jay you the homie stay up bruh.

Had a similar experience from GOAT with the Miami Nights. Tab on the box was ripped off, shoes were untied and loosened up, right insole was halfway folded underneath itself and big creasing on the midsole. All after some shipping delays too. Had me tight. Never again.

Dude I feel like there is definitely something wrong with the pair I got from flight club. The one on my right foot creases with EVERY SINGLE STEP I TAKE. Like my foot squishes the inner part of the shoe with every step. I wore them once and the right foot one is barely even presentable now. The left foot one on the other hand is fine. I don’t get it. Very strange and disappointing because this is a beautiful shoe.

Don’t you think you’re being a little harsh? In all fairness. If you have never experienced anything bad with goat besides this incident then I wouldn’t think too much of it. You got your refund plus another $25 credit. You can’t knock on them for 1 mistake when they’ve done you good all the other times.
I’m being harsh because I spend my hard earned money for over priced shoes and he is right! This is unacceptable. It’s not a small issue. Example: what if he decided to resell the shoe and someone notice the imperfections… people get shot over things like that because they would think he’s trying to get over on them.

Preach brother. I just had beef with goat too. They shipped me something that had some iffy quality and scuffs so I returned it. Then Goat didn’t accept my return tho because they said I had “given” the shoes the issues even tho it was how they sent them to me! I was pissed. However in your case, I would say this blame is on Nike. Their quality control has plummeted and, ironically, because they limit everything we have to pay more money for lesser quality shoes. Bad on Nike all around…

The tongue that looks like glue to me. I would be hot, but I could probably get that off. Paper = irritating, as well as that crease! But what I couldn’t rock with is that off centered logo on the back, or that fly wire. I know they offer returns but you pay for shipping but these I’d have to press for that to be waived.

A lot of the shoes that get out early are rejected pairs by Nike. It seems to me that you may have got one of those pairs. Whom ever sent that pair to goat probably had five or six pairs kept the ones they wanted and sent the b grades to goat

Goat will mess you over at times. Did me twice on shoes I sold that were brand new and tried to say they were used. And one time sent me a used shoe that I bought for brand new. I sent it right back! Idk how the shoes were even passed. No issues with StockX though
StockX will be my go to for the time being, no issues with them as well.
