I like the showing of Showdown gameplay (goodness knows I'd avoid it, it's a bit bare compared to the original) and your general delivery. Here's some production tips for you! - Link the sources to what you say! Showing people where the info came from lets them access communities and feel more confident that you're speaking facts™. The algorithm likes it too. - Your transitions between parts have a bit of an awkward silence, try shortening these or making a cool segway. - You're going the deadpan delivery route, which can be funny (just look at ol' rev!), but chuck some more jokes in there! Especially easy when dumpster diving. - Try adding some little animations into things. When making my videos, I'd do this using Picture in Picture keyframing, which is surprisingly easy! Putting in some old classic YTP meme sounds with it was fun too... - The transparency on the RB artwork (best art btw!!!!🎉) isn't always finished or even left out. I think Bulbapedia has this stuff in its Bulbagarden Archives, either that or Lewtwo's production resources. Try looking around, there's definitely higher quality as I'd used it in my early material. Just to clarify at 1:01 I say it ties with Kingler for highest in the game, but Rhydon has the same base attack as well, and Dragonite’s is even higher at 134.
When I watch these kinds of videos, I'm looking for practical advice in addition to the metagame overview. Which is to say, the recommended sets and the exact recommended team compositions / structures, and even potential ones which aren't necessarily recommended as of yet. This video doesn't tell anyone how to use Machamp in gen1ou.

God if this doesn't stay strictly on the vr, I really hope you cover Omastar who (sort of) 1v1s Tauros. Its literally such a dumb niche but I love it

I’m always looking for new Gen 1 OU videos. I like the concept a lot! You should give Wigglytuff a try. It actually has some fun strats with counter.
I’d have to be really strapped for content if I’m talking about tuff.
