@Lunatic Vivii was a devout practicing christian for fifteen years. the bible and its people instructed me to kill myself for being gay. leviticus 20:13. and like a "good christian" i followed my gods orders "a man sh@II not lie with man as with woman. he has c0mitt3d an ab0min@tion and sh@II be put to d3@th. his bl00d is on his hands." all for something i never chose. when i never even hurt anybody. 9 inch scar, wrist to elbow. nearly down to bone. carved with unwashed broken glass from a beer bottle i found in the street. and i bl3d out in the fucking bathtub. acting under direct orders of that book. i spent a month in an emergency mental hospital in 2016. got 23 stitches and was immediately diagnosed with PTSD, and major depressive disorder. which ive never fully recovered from. dont tell me "pray the gay away" dont tell me "god forgives" dont tell me "doesnt apply anymore" dont tell me "its your fault" dont tell me "you can change". your book doesnt say change. it says d*e. in NO uncertain terms. dont tell me im being disrespectful to your faith. dont tell me im misquoting. dont tell me dont tell me its out of context. i copied it word for word directly from your book. stop dodging. stop victim blaming. and after all of it? my own christian father himself told me he wished i DIDNT survive. he yold me that that im "useless, and worthless, and shouldve tried again."
