Im 72 and have sarcoidosis of the lungs as well as asthma. I read that cleaning products can cause lung issues. So, I use vinegar and baking soda for most things.
Ha ha! "I look like the undead!!" Gina, you very much look like the fully alive, and you do have a nice complexion!! Simple skin care is the best!!! I moisterize at night, sunscreen in the morning. Only pat my face dry, no rubbing. Not smoking, drinking water, and wearing a hat in the sun, are great habits.
So fun to listen to your skin care routine and your honesty! A dermatologist told me that Americans shower too much which is not good for our skin! Completely agree, less is more ❤ Sara
Hi Gina! Thank you for sharing your All natural beauty tips! It works perfect for you because you look so great and you’re always glowing! A lot of times it really does look like you’re wearing lipstick. 💄 💋 I love you!!😘💕
Hi Gina, Thank-you so much for your quick reply. You are truly blessed with such beautiful skin . I think that your glow must come from within. I have very sensitive skin, so i can apprecite your less is best ethos. Years ago a dermatologist told me that he "hates" moisturizers. He felt that they do more harm than good. Now that I am older, and live in a very cold climate I feel that I really need some . Coincidentally I use the same Aeeno that you use on my body, so i will try some on my face. Again Thank-you
Hi Gina. Thank you for sharing with us. Me too I wish winter was good bye. We will be in the 20’s wish we were in the 40’s too. Looking for spring. When I had my first baby a coworker made me chicks Devan. It was so good. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
Hi Gina!! I love that you said about the face washing . When I tell people that , I get such horrible feedback. 😂 I honestly have never scrubbed and washed my face either , other like you said with water . The dermatologist always gives me compliments , so I suppose I’m doing something right . I do always wear sunblock , and avoid the sun when I can. I don’t do much makeup either. I have tried and being I am so fair , I always end up looking like I should be standing on a street corner . 😩 Thanks for this video. ❤
Oh my, Gina! I am so impressed with your amazing am/ pm routine! You have saved soooo much money and you look great. I can’t believe you don’t wash your face but on occasion in the shower. Even hand lotion instead of facial lotion. Women are spending soooo much money on different products and you spend hardly anything at all!!! Do you wear sunscreen or a hat while in the sun? You do not seem to have sunspot or age marks. I am 47 and have some sun spot on my face. Im noticing the start of age spots on my hands and arms. I do not drink or smoke but may have been in sun too much.
My face doesn't get dirty to wash it. Washing it in the shower with water seems to do the trick! I do wear a hat if it's too sunny. I will wear sunscreen but I hate to so I don't do it often.
Oh Gina, I just love your off the cuff spontaneity! I'm all for a natural look too. When you pinched your cheeks I thought of Vivian Leigh from "Gone With The Wind." I don't have a routine either! I did purchase some pure, unscented goat's milk soap this Fall. I use it in the shower, and on my face ( in the shower ). It does make your skin feel softer. ❤
I really love this video! I feel like we are having “girl talk”! 😊 I don’t wash my face at night, either. I don’t use expensive moisturizers either! I use coconut or avacado oil , ( when I can remember ). I rarely wear makeup . When I do, it’s just a little under eye concealer, blush & lip balm. I laughed when you demonstrated how you bite your lips to make them darker ! You are a trip !! 🤣 God bless you ❤❤❤
I do wash my face with the Walmart brand of Neutrogena foaming face wash with cold water then I pat my face try with a wash cloth. I don't use moisturizer because I break out in a rash with most even the hypo-allergenic kind. I make my own sugar scrub that has coconut oil in it. I do that maybe once or twice a month on my face, legs and hands. I stopped wearing makeup years ago. It started making me get bumps on my face. Gina. you do have nice skin.
@@SimplyHeartandHome I scrub with it when I shower. They probably would if I let them near me but even then I wouldn't because of the sugar and extract I put in it. One is a lemon sugar scrub.
Makeup for wedding and funerals….otherwise, I’m makeup free……I, too, have never smoked…..not even a puff…..probably because I got a lot of second hand smoke and it was awful…..you’re very enjoyable….thanks….

I hadn't thought of that. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I'm glad I look fully alive! ❤️

I'm so glad you enjoyed this video! Less is definitely more!
Your skin is beautiful 😍
I think having a baby face helps. I didn't like it when I was younger but now, I do! 😉

Hi Annie! Maybe my lip color looks different in different lighting? xo

You are very welcome. Yes, this cold dry weather really dries out our skin!
You have absolutely beautiful skin! I wish mine looked as good as yours!
Thank you, Sara. I had quite a bit of acne in my late teens and am thankful that cleared up!

What a lovely dinner that coworker made for you!

I should wear sunblock, Bobbie, but I seldom do. You have very pretty skin!

I have heard such good things about goat milk soap. I tried it and it didn't agree with me. I think I'm allergic to it. My skin was very itchy.
Hi, Gina! You have a lovely complexion. I use a facial hair remover. My skin is dry right now and I am moisturizing a lot.
The air is so dry in the winter!

Thanks, Debbie. Do the kitties want to give you kisses when you put on your sugar scrub!

I think the big key is moisturizing, for me anyway. Since I retired, I too, just use water. I wonder, too, if our genes have a lot to do with it.
Possibly so, Cheryl. My mother smoked so much, she didn't age very well. Her skin lost that elasticity it needs.

Carolyn, sounds like a plan. Yes, my parents with the smoking...
