In this year of the Champions League, RC Celta and RC Deportivo, both from Galicia, beat AC Milan in different phases. Never underestimate modest teams.
@@lilavergissmeinnicht Sorry but in the historical standings, Deportvo is in one place below Real Club Celta de Vigo. Currently, it has been promoted to the Spanish second division after having been maintained by a bank to avoid having to disappear due to its debt.
@@randomfakealias I meant the period 2000 - 2005 years, when Javier Irureta coached. Back then they were a formidable team, beating the giants on their home stadiums in the group stages of the Champions League. They even beat Real Madrid right on the day of their centenary in the final of the Spanish Cup)) Now this is a completely different team, but Milan without Ancelotti and Berlusconi is also not as great as before, which after 2007 year has not won anything else on the international stage (no one europian cup).
@@lilavergissmeinnicht As a Galician I find it funny that from abroad you try to explain to me what we have here. Deportivo de La Coruña has had to be financially intervened due to a multimillion-dollar debt to avoid its total disappearance. Currently the bank has put the club up for sale after having spent several years in regional categories. They have even been defeated by RC Celta B. Simply, both modest teams have had brilliant moments, nothing more. Being a humble club is not a weakness but a strength according to our culture. A value as important as knowing how to be a humble person in life.
@randomfakealias Are you stupid ? The dude literally talking about Celta and dopetivo in these years Early 2000 He’s not talking about the recent teams wtf you are on ?
Back when La Liga was nigh Invincible you meant to say. Even now, and despite its financial inferiority to other major European leagues (especially the mega-rich EPL) it is still sitting atop the UEFA rankings, and has managed to send 4 clubs to the CL last 16. Witness also Malaga beating AC Milan and Atletico utterly embarassing Chavski.

Депортиво не был скромным. Он уже много лет выступал в лиге чемпионов.

It's even better now.
We beat AC Milan without Alexander Mostovoi on the pitch. Watch out.

E con l'anti-doping obbligatorio in Spagna avremmo una Champions in piu.....

Mucho Kaká pero derrotado en San Siro.
