I'm wondering about the shipment of giraffes from its natural habitat in different parts of Africa (e.g. Kenya, Tanzania etc) to India, before it comes to Singapore. I hope it was done legally, and when reporting, it is key not to miss out the whole process.
So Cool these giraffes. Must see one! Read that Giraffes also thrive in Forested nature reserves of India. The Giraffes were born in India and nursed there at the Zoo known as Mysore Zoo in Southern India. Of course legally la under animal exchange programme, else just think how something as big as a giraffe would be here 🦒
This was done legally. The Giraffe species is from Africa but these two individuals were born under human care in an Indian Zoo. Hope this clarifies =)
oh wow.. interesting that they're shipped together with wind turbine blades!.. and I believe it should be 'from the ship go down the ladder to the LAUNCH (boat), and then go to Marina South pier to clear in the passports'
2:38 I also thought it was the giraffes' passports 😂
Me too. Coz I heard the Eagle at Jurong Park from Philippines have a special passport.
If "we want to ensure sustainability of these species in our collection" at 3:39, why are all 4 giraffes (Marco, Jubilee, Adhil and Balaji) male?
I’m curious too
I heard male giraffes can get pregnant by another male

@@Masha-kd2im You're seriously misinformed. Do a quick Google search and you'll realise that giraffes are all originally from the continent of Africa
